if u are drunk and if u dont know this city you will be crashed by a tram %70 or you will be killed by bicyles %100 ... doesnt matter how big city you are coming from it will be more crazy and paranoyac city than yours..

Nice video of a beautiful city! I don't understand why so many cities are installing trams that are so ugly and do no blend in with the surrounding architecture. These trams stick out like a sore thumb and blend in like a McDonalds Drive In. This doesn't apply solely to Amsterdam, but to many other mostly western European cities. Am I alone in my opinion?
Not alone, I'm inclined to agree. I think the Combino was a poor choice for wholesale fleet replacement, a view also expressed to me by members of the EMA.
Trouble is, with commercial builders, it's difficult to get something to "blend in". I'm not even sure the distinctive outline of the Marseille cars can be said to blend in.
I love how the tracks are laid out so that only one tram will pass at once, leaving more room for people to walk around. Truly a city built for people! Question about that though...which trams have the right of way?

Generally, trams heading toward Centraal Station have priority.
A driver may choose to give up priority if his situation requires a delay.
