So when does the baby officially become alive and and it's considered murder? I am not asking this to be snide, I am serious. Here in America, abortion is legal for the first two trimesters of a pregnancy. However, in Israel, abortion is illegal once a heartbeat can be found, and a heartbeat can be detected before three weeks in some cases. Also, the babies are definitely aware of the abortion taking place. They struggle and fight for their lives, so you can't equate them to tumors.

A.) similar organ system, something a fetus has not yet fully developed, it is still missing many peices, so it is not similar

C.) proper genetalia, yet again, they have not been developed, therefore are lacking.

I'm spiritual and have done prayer about it, in my heart Ive found abortion to be equal to murder, except in the case of killing the baby in self defense (where to carry to birth would spell death for the mother). Other than that I could never promote abortion. Dont know if your spiritual but pray, if not meditate on this to hear your heart

If you do some soul searching, meditation, or an examination of conscience, you can find higher truths in you heart. These are truths having to do with morality. The nature of a tuna or a dog has nothing to do with morality and can not be percieved with the heart. YOU are trying to argue with logos, but this is beyond that, the issue of abortion has to be examined with logos AND pathos and ethos

Its easy to support something or its counter based on arguments as both sides have obvious truths. But when you find in your heart that something is right or wrong, that holds more sway over your beliefs and actions, and remains constant, and the choice become clear. I can see both sides from a logical standpoint, but having found which way love points I must point in the same direction

(1) how do we define a person as being human *and therefore has the right to life?*
(2)If your soo worried about a woman getting raped... and then having the possibility of dying...why not regard rape as attempted murder?

I don't really care how long it has been around, and that argument is completely invalid. because It has been around since the beginning it should stay, yeah well slavery was there in the beginning. Do you also support that? I'm sure that is what the supporters of slavery argued. "that has NEVER included embryos." replace 'embryos' with 'black people' and you have your argument for slavery.

Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it. slaves were not seen as full humans, neither are "fetuses". If black people had rights they would not have been slaves, they were seen as property.(so are unborn babies now) It is the same thing, except now children ,instead of black people, are not being given rights because they look different. So no, this is not an immature theory, it is the truth!
