eh, the house was all sorts of smokey from the grill. the thing works TOO well ;-) We took the battery out , but it still went off when making the beans ;-)

he's not trained as a chef, but his mother is also an excellent cook so he learned from her :-) he LOVES to cook! yeah, that wasn't even the first time it went off. when we first started up the grill/fire there was smoke everywhere and we had to open all the doors n windows to air out the apt ;-) (Husband is a philosopher - grad student and teacher.)

yeah, that cake was DELICIOUS! :-) when i bought it i got myself all excited that i forgot that it was MY favorite and not husbands. so i told him to pretend he got it for me ;-)
