Awesome Space Needle. I first rode it back in summer of 2006 i believe is when it was, can't remember for sure. I've got a few pictures from the top. I like that fun center there where the Space Needle is, it's been there for years. They've got bumper cars in it i think, and a nice big arcade.
I'm not specifically sure. To the point of the needle, the height is 407 feet. However, the platform where you stand is below that, so I would say that the platform itself is somewhere within 350 to 375 feet above ground. You can probably research it quite easily on google.
