jeff, you re a great bass player, very good technique, great resistance playing along, that s what everybody have to say. but in most of the videos that i ve seen, you re always trying to play something that s not for bass. ok, you are extremely fast with your both hands, but nobody can understand anything when you play flight of the bumble bee for example. it sounds like an extremely fast consecution of ghost notes. it can t be a great bass line

Considering Leo Fender created the first one in 1951, it has had a very short history in music, but a far more powerful effect on the way music is created and listened to when compared to many instruments with longer histories. The funniest thing is that some guys understand a LOT of brazilian "samba", "bossa".. and they don´t have ANY video showing their skill playing this kind of music.

I´m from brazil. I play instruments too and I think that nobody should criticize a musician like this guy playing bass, specialy when he does a nice work showing to other countries different music cultures.

The language is portuguese. this music is "garota de ipanema" composed by Tom Jobim(greater musician of the bossa nova "brasilian Jazz") and this music is a great success in brazil.
