  • A roadtrip with 3 music geniuses? Wow.

  • At the end, Alex is thinking, " I wish Paul was that good at drums."

  • Rob should be on the next G3 w/ Vai and Tosin Abasi

that would the most badass G3 of all time

  • @Uv7x77 What about Ron, Bumblefoot, and Buckethead? I think they're more stylistically matched.

  • @builditwithlegos that would be pretty cool, i was just thinkin of those three since they were three different styles ans would be interesting to see them jam.

  • @builditwithlegos

just leave the bucket thing alone and you have perfect masters together great!

  • @diaraam Yeah I had to get 3 Buckethead was the closest match I could think of.

  • @builditwithlegos what's wrong with Buckethead. (Never played guitar hero, and known about him way before he was on it, just in case it means anything =P)

  • @xparty I actually said I liked Buckethead. I think you read someone commenting on my post. I prefer Ron, but there's nothing wrong with Buckethead.

  • @builditwithlegos Looking back, that's exactly what happened. Aah.

    My apologies =)

  • @xparty Naw dude, it's chill.

  • @builditwithlegos I stylistic match doesnt exactly mean they'll actually like each other as people...or even be able to work with each other.

  • @BeardShorts This is true, but we're talking about idealistic situations to begin with.

  • "Compsitionally, I relate all of "Machinations..." to the classical music I used to listen to. Like, Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3 (you know, the one from Shine). Every time I listen to this album, I'm just swept by the undeniable structural genius."

This sounds absolutely nothing like Rachmaninoff.

Musically, Jarzombek is a prog. metal equivalent of Schoenberg or Webern: 12 note organizations for pitch, pieces played in retrograde, etc..

  • Thanks man!!! you make me ear Rachmaninoff!!! Its great!!!

  • thanks for advice, I turn off mu sub volume and it sound good.

  • haha, bucket of fish

  • This is amazing driving music.

  • even at that level of professional muscians, the drummers still do random solos....LMAO

  • Mr .Jarzombek ,you and Mr .Holdsworth are the best that has happend to my life and ears!! Keep it up!!!

  • hell yeah

  • i'm sure it's pretty crazy without as well

  • i can't hear any of the lead parts :(

  • Compsitionally, I relate all of "Machinations..." to the classical music I used to listen to. Like, Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3 (you know, the one from Shine). Every time I listen to this album, I'm just swept by the undeniable structural genius. And I would like to remind everyone that "Adenosine Buildup" and "Adenosine Breakdown" are the same song, played note-for-note forward and backward. Ron is such a musical pioneer. Make another album dammit!

  • 0:28.

    ROFL.

  • ohh yeah, my fav instrumental

  • Hey Ron,

are there any upcoming shows at all in North America? If so, that would be awsome! All of you guys are absolutely amazing musicians! Keep it up!

  • the most technical and abstract music in metal

  • Very technical, but I've heard more abstract (which is good for Blotted Science, because I'm tired of bands masturbating notes). Also, IMO there are more bands to consider as "the most technical music in metal", bands like Spiral Architect, Crimson Massacre and Visceral Bleeding.

  • boots and bands and boots and pants and..

    haha

something really funny about seeing that.

  • men this is so great! congratulations!!!! ron you are a big inspiration for me.

  • wow bow! bow! bow! great! - rhai of phil

  • IS THIS LIKE A SIDE PROJECT ???

  • yeah and if you buy their new dvd it shows you the rest of the bands side projects

  • killer.

  • Yeah, boots and pants! For the polymetric 4 over 3, I personally like the name "pass the goddamn butter!"

Great shit, hope to see you boys blow a hole in Buffalo in the near future!

  • i wonder if alex will use more of this technical stuff in the next corpse album

  • ether way i cant wait

  • hope so.

  • Corpse is already technical enough without Jarzombek shit added in. haha Your gonna make it too hard to learn the next Cannibal Corpse album.

  • Hey Ron, its Ryan from lessons :) That Red Head kid that goes at 6:30. Was showing a friend some of your videos when I came across this. Amazing stuff.

  • BLotted Science RULES!!!
