Amen brother, I saw this group live in manhattan in september of last year and it was one of the best shows i've ever seen. They set up an atmosphere like i've never seen before. The only other show that was as good as this, but in a different respect was a brad mehldau trio show, check them out if ur into jazz.
this is beyond hip. Glasper is pushing the jazz boundaries into hip hop without being corny, but by being highly original, giving homage to the greatest hip hop producer of all time, demonstrating his (dilla's) distinct style of placing the beats (as I've noticed.)
