Again folks..... The peacock was perfectly healthy and lives on the Safari park....its free to go where ever it wants and seems to choose the meercat enclosure, don't know why....but it does! lol

Just to let you concerned people know, No Peacock was harmed in the making of this video! He was all well, and shorlty after this vid flew off to another part of the Safari. Only to come back about an hour later to the Meercats! :)

Glad I am not the only one. I work at a zoo with plenty of tough and healthy peacocks... and this breaks my heart.

Well, I've never worked at a zoo nor have raised peafowl, but know enough about them to realize that that behaviour just isn't normal. Even the place where it's at - that white sand or whatever - it's just... bizarre. It makes me real sad. It may be funny on the meercat's side, but it's certainly no fun for the peacock. *sigh*
