  • Awesome song awesome family awesome testimony.I love there music! My prayer is God will continue to bless them and use them for the building up of the kingdom.Praise the Lord in all power and goodness in love.

  • THE CRABB FAMILY ARE MY FAVORITES I JUST HOPE I GET TO SEE THEM IN PERSON BEFORE MY LIFE ON EARTH IS DONE

  • @johnnie58ish It's an experience that you will never forget. If they're ever close to you, do what you have to do to go. I saw them last month, and going again a week from tomorrow. 45 minute drive the first time, nearly 3 hours next week. Totally worth it.

  • This song is so real, because we may know God but sometimes we just have to cry

  • If your walking in the sprit God can minister to you threw this song!

  • Ok so I am Christian and listen to Christian music quite often, but I am honestly appalled that this won best song of 2011. He sings about how well he knows cliches in this song because THIS song is so incredibly cliche. Man. Is generic, cliche, poorly crafted, and simple really where Christian music is headed? Apparently, the answer is yes.

  • @nanoman125 This is a powerful song that reaches a lot of people. I personally love it and have to disagree. What do you consider moving and acceptable music?

  • @3caldwell My problem with this song is not whether or not it is moving or acceptable. My problem with this song is that it won song of the year when there are dozens of other Christian artists whose musical talent is FAR more deserving of an award than this song. Sure, maybe it's "moving" but that doesn't mean it isn't generic.

  • How true this song is for so many Christians!

  • Please Mr. Jason and Familiy don't forget from whence we came , maybe the bus accident was a wake up call to stay humble and not to become a samson so full of self . we need to remember our strength cometh from the Lord.

  • @195119991 I have met this family and I will attest they are a LONG way from "full of self".

  • Think about all the strong men in the Bible who wept. Not so much out of self-pity, but they truly accepted all the emotions God gave us when he created man. Funny how, since I've been a Christian, I have still felt sorrow over my situation, but I no longer shed tears over my own misfortune because I know I brought the misery on myself. Or maybe it's just maturation.

  • Simply amazing!!!

  • I just love this song. It always just hit home.

  • Jason...you know me..I sang on main stage at NQC and I have to tall you I am very proud of you. This song is touching lives everywhere. My my my friend but your daddy knows how to wriite em !

  • As I sit here on the eve of what would have been my son's 35th birthday ( Joshua Dooley 10-2-76 - 9-15-93 ~ I reflect on this song and know it's meaning all too well. As Christians, we go through many trials, but the LORD is worth all we endure in this world ( that isn't our home.) How I love my Lord Jesus, and thank HIM for bringing me through those first years of such intense grief & deep suffering , after my son committed suicide. It's all about HIM Saints, and HIS love for us. Cindy

  • @sooleyced My heart aches for you for the loss of your son. Sometimes me hid behind all that Jason sings about and its hard to see the hurt some people are fealing, of despair and desperation. Ive had relatives to commit suicide and its so sad that they felt this was the only way to relieve the pain. What would we do without the Lord. My prayers are with you.

  • @maddiesmoo , thank you so much for your words of comfort towards me Maddie, the LORD has healed my broken heart, and continues to give me the grace I need daily to walk with HIM and proclaim that HE alone is my source ! May the LORD bless you daily precious saint. Sincerely Cindy

  • Gota love this guy!

  • I love this song.

  • /watch?v=v8mrNJvMxgo pretty funny parody to Jason Crabb's "Sometimes I cry"

  • @concurxx I don't really think it's funny. It makes me sick to think people can make fun of God's music like that. I'll pray for whoever that is attempting to sing the devil's lyrics.

  • Sometimes, I cry...

  • he's awesome! and this is a great song!

  • Mr. Gerald Crabb has been there done that somewhere in his life. He should have won the award since he wrote it. But, Jason is blessed with a voice and a Christian Dad. How many others can claim that? I praise God for your blessings Crabb family.

  • God is wonderful, this song touched my heart. Thank you Jesus.

  • THIS SONG REALLY BLESSED MY SOUL!!!! THANKS JASON.....

  • Amen!

  • This is an awesome song song and written with such sensitivity and passion. Well Done. Jason's father, Gerald Crabb wrote this song and Tommy Sims (Change The World, Don't Matter to the Sun, Simply Redeemed, Peace & Love) produced Jason's album.

  • he says it all right. Christians are human too.

  • It's almost impossible for me to pick a favorite. However, I believe "Sometimes I Cry" speaks directly to the heart of every Christian. I really feel God's anointing when I hear this song. God bless you and the whole family. Tell your dad I really appreciate his gift as well.

  • i totally love this song!

  • sometimes i cry too. i just keep failing jesus, he died for me !

  • @08skins

remember we are in process. We are becoming.

  • I have been saved since I was nine years old. I will soon be thirty nine. God is good and he has blessed me in so many ways. He has blessed me when he let my child come back to me. Aug 6th 2010 my then thirteen year old child visited with God in heaven after being in an accident, she has opened my eyes to what I let slip away and that is keeping God in my life. God is my savior and I love him!

  • Sometimes I Cry, too!!! :'(

  • As God grows us and matures us, and blesses us by his Grace, we don't go back we mature, the message in the songs that Terah, Jason, Adam, Aaron and Kelley sing is a blessing, Gospel is the same way it grows us and blesses us, It's seems the Lord has blessed them with wonder lyrics, and melodies, they change as the Lord changes them, they mix the old fashion with the new, to reach the old and young alike. thank God they follow him

  • why do i confuse jason crab with wess morgan, they 're both great men of god, they are very talented.

  • This is awesome I agree.

  • This song is so beautiful.I was raised in church and my whole life I've ran from God. I have lived a rough life with drug addiction but even when I was out there alone cring God was still listening Today is my 2 years being clean ad i couldn't have one it without god. God is wonderful and sometimes alone I cry but God is there listening.

  • This is awesome... I can play it on guitar and now if i can get the girl to sing it...

  • This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard... Thank you Jesus for standing beside me through all trials even when I cry :)

  • this is how i feel. we all have our stuggles and i always feel like when i try my hardest it all fails. this helped me alot thanks alot jason crabb

  • To the one person who doesn't like this song,I will pray that GOD will give you help in understanding;because at 54 yrs,

    . old "Sometimes I Cry".

  • i just became a knew found christen and my aunt told me about your beutiful music and has touched me i have been so depressed the last 7 years becouse i lost my brother and my sister and my grand mother and fighting my own demands and this music touch the core of my soul and i will never be able to repay the joy my aunt brought to me by telling me of this beutiful music and sometimes i do cry but God will be there to help me see another day

  • Tears are a language, that GOD understands!!! JESUS WEPT!!! John 11;35...HE knows how we hurt and HE understands coz HE's been thru it..!!! luv this song!

  • This song is okay but nothing like the songs he use to sing with/as the Crabb family; He needs to go back to singing old fashion gospel!!!

  • outstanding job on this song. saw him sing this and it was even more powerful in person. only one word...WOW

  • Love this song and He does a wonderful job of course ,and annointed !!!!!!

  • Guess that about says it all...

  • this is my new fav song it hits right at my heart praise god for his honesty...

  • a man of god doesnt wipe the tears, speak of the tears,or understand why he cries..a man of god realizes that god gives him the burdens that make him cry to make him stronger<3 and i love him for that and more..thank god for everything!!!

  • @bluvsgod Thanks for that profound post. When we are crucified with Christ we bear the burdens he bears and feel the pain that He feels and realize that we're still not fully united with Christ like we were made to be and that we aren't Home yet. Sometimes I think a lot of popular gospel songs present Christianity almost as a way to "lose your blues" and make so you want to dance. We Christians have the priveledge of facing the pain of living on earth head on instead of covering it. God bless.

  • @nevadaPilgrim Amen,i feel sorry for the people who don't know my god! He will take you through, over, and past the mountains that stand in your way! he will stop the storm that seems like it will never end!Isn't he amazing!

  • Thank you Jason for singing this...reminds us that though we are children of the Most High God by the Blood of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, sometimes we do have to just go off to ourselves and cry...not because we're weak, we're strong through Our Father and Our Lord...sometimes I get a little "homesick", don't you??

  • love this song!

  • i know how it is jason i am the same way

  • Very Moving Song I can listen to the Crabb Family all Day..They sure Move Me..God Bless...

  • Saw Jason last night (6 Nov 2010) in Holland, Ohio on tour with Guy Penrod. It was absolutely amazing. When he did this song you could feel Gods' grace falling like rain on the crowd. Thank-you God and Jason.

  • @Cashcrop54 I'm going 2 c him 11-18-10 and can't wait and my kids can't also

  • @blessacr You are going to have an incredible time! He puts all of his being into his singing. If you get to talk to him tell him we are missing him in Holland, Ohio.

He was happy that he could tell people he had been in Holland. Have a great time!

  • @Cashcrop54 if I can I will

  • NEVER STOP DOING THE MIGHTY WORKS FOR JESUS CHRIST!

YOU'RE AN INSPIRATION TO SO MANY PEOPLE, AND GOD IS USING YOU IN A VERY POWERFUL WAY. MAY HE ALWAYS PROTECT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

HE BLESSES YOU SO THAT YOU CAN BLESS OTHERS! AND YOU ARE VERY OBEDIENT TO HIM. PRAISE GOD!

    BTW, I LOVE THIS SONG

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!! IT FIT'S ME TO A ( T ),WOW BREATH TAKING JASON. YOU GO ALL THE WAY FOR JESUS DON'T STOP.....

  • BEAUTIFULL...

  • Nice video effect with the watercolor or whatever. I had never heard this song before. Meaningful to say the least.

  • Thank you for using the gift of singing that God has given you, to both minister to the public, and to glorify god. I appreciate that you've developed the gift and not chosen to hide it under a bushel.

  • You have really blessed me with this song, this speaks to my spirit. May God Bless You and your entire Crabb Family!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song describes my life... may God bless you Jason and your Dad for this song. Lets me know that I am not the only one out here who crys sometimes! Bless you!

  • I love this song! It is a reflection of my life.. I just wanted to extend a thank you to the Crabb family. keep up the good work.

  • i can relate

  • Sometimes we hurt and sometimes we cry. No matter how hard we try we can not get it right. But He alone knows us and yet loves us and desires to get us where we can not ever go alone if we will but let go and let Him be God. For it is when we are weak He then is allowed with in our lives to be strong. For I a lone am nothing oh but in Him In Him all things our for He was He is and He shall make all thing new again.

  • If you like this video, then you really need to see him perform this in person. He is AWESOME, totally annointed man of GOD. Can't wait to go to one of his concerts again!!

  • Just bought Daystar...have listen to about 50 times over the last 3 days...what an awesome singer who is getting his message straight from God...you have touched me deeply..can't wait until I see you live...

  • I heard this song over and over and over again..........sometimes I cry touches my heart.............

  • Can relate! and my heart breaks for US!

  • do you know is this was filmed for a dvd? I really want this version instead of the cd version.

  • I live in Connecticut and i have been trying to get enough people to request a Jason Crabb concert here. He is such an anointed man of God. I totally agree, I believe when he is singing he feels every word. One of my favorite songs he sing is Through the Fire. I love this song too. Every time i hear him sing, i feel that he is focused on giving God the glory. We have to listen to the words of the song with our heart and not our ears.

  • absolutely LOVE IT! This song is a song for all Christians. We do everything that we can but there are times when we all cry. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Blessed, blessed, blessed to be such a blessing to others! I seem to find strength listening to him, he is full of emotions when he sings about the Lord! I can feel the spirit of JESUS!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG THANK YOU JASON FOR LETTING GOD US YOU SUCH A POWERFUL SONG THANK YOU IN JESUS WE LOVE YOU

  • Wonderful song, nice tune great instruments,

But once again this , just like modern evagelicalism, it is man centered.

Our focus isnt to be on the feelings of ourselves but on the Sovreign God who gave us life. Yes this could be a wholesome song to listen to rather than modern pop.

But it doesnt give God all the Glory He deserves.

  • @TheWicketgate Not trying to be rude or anything, but we don't have WORDS that will give God all the praise and glory He deserves. As far as this song, and others you say are "man centered", God's people have ALWAYS written about what they are going through. Ever read Psalms? The psalmists wrote about the praise they had for God, AND about the tough times they were facing. The truth will stand, when the world is on fire, and the truth is, that we DO hurt, and there's nothing wrong with saying it

  • @UnknownServant1 I understand your willingness to praise God. Psalms was written by God through men, otherwords it is INSPIRED. This song is not inspired by God, understand the difference. This song is about "I & ME". Our praise is to focus on Gods Attributes, what HE has done for us, based on what we find in Scripture, such as the Psalms. Dont get me wrong, it is a wholesome song, but when we praise we focus on who God is, not on ourselves. Just as when the Gospel is presented.

  • @TheWicketgate I agree that when we Praise, God is the center...but He also calls us to "comfort" one another. If we don't think God INSPIRES words of "comfort", ask your preacher, when he's ministering comfort to someone who's been through a tough situation, if God doesn't give him the exact words needed. I hope you don't take offense to these replies. Just trying to show how songs "about me, myself, & I" can be a positive influence, too. Sometimes "we" are the only bible a sinner ever reads.

  • @UnknownServant1 1 Peter 4:12-19

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing; so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation. If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

  • @UnknownServant1 . By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but in that name let him glorify God. For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

  • @UnknownServant1 And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner? Therefore, let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

A proper understanding of the gift of suffering, which conforms us to the image of Christ will allow us to worship God in His fullness and take the focus of praise from ourselves. We are to praise God in our hurts, because Rom 8;28 God bless

  • @UnknownServant1 What is the primary purpose of worship? Is it to minister to the hurting, save the unsaved, make ourselves feel better? Although these may be byproducts of worship, that isnt what we are commanded to accomplish in worship. We bring the SACRAFICE of praise to God to declare His righteousness, holiness, mercy, grace, etc.to HIS glory. The "WORDS" that you say we dont have, are revealed to us in His Word. The truth that we hurt will not stand, because our hope is every tear will be wiped.

  • @UnknownServant1 When God calls us to comfort one another, is that command to comfort others while we are praising God? or comfort whenever we can. Arent we to direct all our energies to His praise , or multitask in our worship? God inspires words of comfort in His Word.Comfort comes in different modes, financial, words , spiritually, support, proclaimation of the Gospel, drink of water, or a blanket. Does it have to come in time of corporate worship?

  • @UnknownServant1 As far as being the only Bible a sinner ever reads (nice cliche), we cannot substitue for Gods written Word. It is only by the Gospel one is saved. It is only by His promises we are comforted. All of which are contained in His Word.

Me, myself ,& I profits nothing lasting.

Please understand I am not being snarky, but we cannot be pragmatic, those results are temporary not enduring. Proclaim His Word, and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work.Teaching a Truth in a song comforts

  • @TheWicketgate It may be cliche that our lives are the drawing force, that makes a sinner curious enough to search out the word...but it's also the truth. The guys I work with will ask me to pray "every" time they have a loved one sick, or are in some sort of bad situation. Is it because I run around quoting scripture all day? No...It's because sinners can spot a true christian by their fruits, and they know that in time of need, these people can reach God. We ARE the bible, to the sinner.

  • @UnknownServant1 Absolutely, it brings Glory to God when His Light shines through one of His elect. Im very happy to hear that. I didnt say to run around quoting Scripture all day, but it wouldnt hurt to meditate on it all day. A Christian life may draw ones curiosity, but it is the Gospel that is the power of God unto Salvation. God uses human means, but it is His Spirit that does the work. He doesnt need you or me to fulfill His purposes. God isnt helpless needing our ingenuity for His plan

  • @TheWicketgate Oh absolutely. He DOESN'T NEED us. But He does choose to use those who are willing...I believe the whole Crabb family is annointed by God, to spread His love everywhere they go. My bible say "do not touch mine annointed". There is a purpose for the above song, just as much as any other christian song. God doesn't give us songs to write, unless there's someone who needs to hear them. We can't put God in a box. He can work through anything...not just praise hymns.

  • @UnknownServant1

1)He does choose those who arent willing. Consider Jonah.

2)In the Scripture you are quoting within the context who are the annointed?

3)What objective Truth do you have to prove that the Crabb family is annointed?

    4) What is the Biblical qualifications of one who is annointed?

    5) I agree we are not able to put God in a box, and He does work through anything.

  • @UnknownServant1

    6) Worship songs primarily are directed to God (hence Worship) not to those who need to hear them (although the Truths contained may minister to them).

    7) Does God "give us songs to write" as He gave David and Asaph in Psalms?

  • @TheWicketgate I misquoted the bible...it says "touch not mine annointed", instead of "do not touch mine annointed". I didn't notice I did that, untill I clicked post.

  • Ever song that Jason sings touches my Heart. I have seen him and his Family 3 times and they are amazing. Read his face. He seems to feel every word that he sings.

  • I can relate to this.....

  • Great song!

  • Ohhhh MY!! I feel this song at times!! WOW, thank you Jason!

  • Wow! It's as if this song was written specifically for me!! Jason is so anointed and blesses me so much with his ministry. I pray God continues to bless him and all his family.

  • my cousins playing guitar in the background. :]

  • i love this song<3

  • Amazing song by an amazing man.

  • Too many Christians are afraid to let others know when they hurt. Sometimes we fall down and cry; but thankfully that is why we are part of God's great family. We a body working together for the building up of His kingdom.

  • I love this song...So many times in my life this song just hits-home..helps me to refocus, that it is okay to cry..it does not make me weak to cry...when I cry out to God..He is always there to listen to me..and care for my every need that I have in life.

God Bless you Jason and your ministry..it truly blesses me and my family!

  • awesome Keep up the work, The lost needs to hear more people like you, God bless you,

  • Angelbaby31791, I know it must be impossible some days to wake up and face the world. I can only imagine. Just know that the Lord knows your hurt and yearning that you have. Just keep the FAITH and some day you'll see them again in a much better place. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!

  • @KMillism Thank you so much. It does get very hard some days, but I know one day I'll see them again, and having great singers like Jason, that can touch the very core of your heart and knows the right words to say....GOD BLESS YOU, MY FRIEND

  • Jason Crabb is such an amazingly talented man of Christ! It is a blessing hearing him and his family sing! Thank you so very much for posting this video!!

  • Just saw this man in concert in Abington VA and his heart is every bit as big as his talent. This man is a true man of god and loving to everyone. Staying after a FOUR HOUR concert to meet & greet us as well as pray for a few as well. Amazing man.

  • This is so true of us as Christians.........do you agree?
