  • And the prisoner's rough draft is a neat, printed page but his final copy is going to be written on toilet paper?

  • And what's with the security guard? Why is he in the jail cell with the prisoner? Why does he look like his mind has snapped? Is he finally giving into the voices? Why did they cut it off before he pulled a gun and blew everyone away?

  • 2:09 Thanks for that. Teach us how to write a resume, then tell us the crushing odds are against us and we're still fucked anyway.

  • inside job lmao

  • @azncoolz your just a fucking retard then... have fun

  • This influences criminal theft

  • Creating your own resume is not that hard however, it you don't have the time or writing has never been your strong suite, it doesn't hurt to hire a resume writer.

  • uhh what if i'm 18 and havent had any jobs yet?

  • @efeliflolopez then you only include your educations and skills.

  • @efeliflolopez Then you're fucked

  • @efeliflolopez then you won't need to submit a resume'

  • @efeliflolopez Then you are a loser

  • @MrHighFRUCTOSE eff you!

  • @efeliflolopez Best thing to do would be to get a job that doesn't require a resume. For example, Best Buy, Costco, The Home Depot. After you get a job try to stay there at least 6 months it'll suffice for a resume or application. If you ever leave the job it'll be easier to find other jobs because now you can apply more towards your resume. Woo! Good luck man.

  • @efeliflolopez If that's the case you prolly don't need a resume. Any job you are looking for should only require an application.

  • @efeliflolopez I have the same issue!! :S

  • @efeliflolopez did you ever get a answer if so please share. THANKS!

  • @efeliflolopez just copy the guys resume in this video

  • @batterycock lol

  • I have seen resume writing videos stating that it is actually highly detrimental to add the heading "References: available upon request". It should be implied that everyone has references so no need to overstate the obvious.

  • This is stupid why do they make this like a joke!

  • @dorito818 so it doesnt make it boring for people this actually got me interested in writing a resume!

  • That statistic at the end is not the best motivation.

  • @packleader1215 I want to go to Hawaii so I can work the surf board shack. Most jobs are mechanical.

TAKE A STAND RADICAL MAN! We've got to stop tolerating this monetary system. Don't vote! Same stuff no matter what color the president is. Keep in mind, Gold colored do not bring good lick...of HOPE. Hope is for the hopeless.

  • I'm trying to write a resume for a parent, ad i've never worked before... Huh.

  • wtf?

  • Wow. I like how the ending made me not want to even try to apply anywhere anymore. -_-

  • Take a class at an unemployement office.

  • Lol Same Here it is a helpful way to teach u how to make a resume. and to show u that ppl in jail get to use a laptop!!!!!! get the hint????? ;-))) lmao lol

  • hahaha im doin this step by step

  • i like how the guy is in jail, trying to write a resume on a mac book

  • Lol! Loved this video :)

  • lol, humor always helps a boring topic! Thanks! But I hear like 50/50 suggestions to leave the "References available on request" out or in... anyone have any insight to this?

  • @mrhozer it depends on you really. It's not that essential since employers know you must have references and WILL ask for them later on. You just have to keep a list of your references at handy. :)...BUT if it bothers you that much to leave out that sentence then well there's no rule that says you cant put it in :)

  • @loveyourself77 Thanks, I think I'll remove that line... My resume is already crowded as it is.

  • thanks

  • @Howcast nice really funny

  • 'Inside job' lol

  • do you have to write a resume even if you're getting one of those shitty waiter/ress jobs? cuz I'm twelve and i havent exactly been to Uni or had other jobs...

  • LMFAO inside job

  • con't...for the "PERFECT RESUME" take it to a professional who can edit it, make recommendations.....this is worth it!!! A professional can help you tailor that resume to that companies positions, and spend the 30 bucks or whatever....just don't throw a sloppy resume out there...NEVER....Remember to "ALWAYS" send a thank you note after an interview, especially if you are trying to get on at a specific company. Zero in on a company...do it right!

  • Sorry!! I forgot to inform that the 1/40 ratio is not for the whole entire city. It is say for instance for a company that has a hiring number of about 6000, like a large university, hospital setting, or perhaps a large construction company. Now when applying for these specific companies-one that you are applying to "only"- and there is nothing wrong with applying to just only one company-it may be withing walking distance-the best thing to do is have the "PERFECT" resume...con't

  • Medical Field is BEST to get a job

    Ministering is another good profession

Lawyer---too many already and are just hanging out down town doing nothing

Nursing---pay is getting less....unless have a 4 year and higher degree

***Rehabilitation for Veterans is REALLY GOOD--GOVERNMENT PAY!! And there is lots of money here folks....and you could even have your own sole practice...This would be a great career.

  • con't....or just applying for an entry position of your career interest, or even something that is close to complementing you college degree.....then it is time to do something. The longer you wait....the harder it is to prove yourself as a college graduate. Go back to college, check out areas like within a 100 miles radius....or just simply pack up and go..just kidding....though you may have to move! But I will advise this truth, everybody needs at least a BA degree in something....

  • hahah this was actually SUPER helpful! <3 I was having such a block trying to figure out what to put and it was like voila EXACTLY what you need. thanks for posting! and JEEZ everyone is in such a bad mood when they make resumes all the comments on instructional resume vids are either unnecessarily harsh or crude DX

  • 200 to 1 are serious?!?!

  • @brosickness

If you live in a large city, let's say with 300,000 t0 500,000, the ratio is 1/40, 1 Interview for every 40 applied positions. Never give up. The more you apply the faster you will know to move on after at least one year. You have to put the ratio to the test, depending on where you live. Generally, within a year, if you do not find something that complements you college degree, or whatever the case, maybe just looking to get a foot in the door/a college degree, con't

  • All these "HowCast" videos are stupid and pointless, and make them into a lame "funny" video.

  • everyone wants some experienced super qualified, nothing can stop me, kind of person. I am honest, hard working, will do my best just doesn't work....

  • IDGAF!!! I'm just gonna hella lie on my resume!

  • @pivotboy63 yes same for me

  • @pivotboy63 im twelve and i am about to start babysitting- try that.

  • @pivotboy63 lie your ass off and hope they dont check your references. haha thats what i did when i was 16

  • @chinchillawrangler Did it work? o_0 LoL

  • @iiTzHiiGHSToRiiEZ850 yup haha they never check references or job history if youre in a lower position

  • @pivotboy63 put in community services that you did but if did for court order lie about it

  • @pivotboy63 Start volunteering on a somewhat regular/steady basis (community service) and establish a reference who can verify commitment and reliability; start acquiriing computer skills (e.g. Microsoft --Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); Photoshop); even typing speed; if you get good grades, a teacher or high school guidance counselor may serve as a reference- the basis of a "first resume"--better than nothing! Also, create a new yahoo or gmail acct. with a professional user name/contact info.

  • I never worked in my life I have zero experience.

What should I write in my resume?

  • I really spent a lot of time perfecting my resume. I knew that my resume could help me a lot , so I decided to showed my resume to others and asked for their opinion before I sent it to the hiring manager/interviewers. I also did away with information that wasn't needed, so the result was carefully-done resume that I was really proud of. ~Thanks for this video! =)

  • Good Video

  • shortlisting ppl for interview is often solely dependent on their CV.

the last time i was involved in shortlisting; i had 380 applicants for 4 jobs. almost all met the advertised criteria; but i shortlisted only 12 applicants that had evidence of progression in their CV.

progression evidence means: if u r applying to work as the prime minister of the UK; u must show evidence that u have progressed in previous jobs from local council representative, up to a member of parliament..

  • ..how bout if your first time to apply for a job??
