Getting in touch with my roots. Nice to see that the stereotype isn't all true. There are Cambodians out there with a good head on their shoulders. Besides me. :)
Cool interview. Khmer or asian in hip hop are the most underrated people on earth. We deserve more than what we get. Btw you look good (no homo lol). Next one do one on the interview Molyna Lim. That will hit 10000 views no problem espiecially with the 300 freeze view problem.
@khmershogunagimoto yea.. theres a lot of skill, just you know every cambodian rap about the same stuff so I get tired of it.. we need some fresh air. Nothing wrong with rapping about something positive... we need that =) never heard of Molyna Lim.. got check that out!
Word word.. You speak the mind of wisdom and knowledge.. My fam was lucky we started life n Canada, because I had so many fam in the US they wouldn't accept us so Canada took us.. But anyways if I was to be in LBC or anywhere in the state.. I probably be dead in jail or something.. Cause up here we Khmer stick together.. Peace brotha
Sorry bro my bad... Long story short,.. I hope you get message across.. I feel u homie straight up, but now and days it hards to get into the mind of youth in the community.. It's all about the "hood", the "projects",.. what color you rep and so on, yelling out "KhmerPride" and what we left back home was brought here.. Where the "pride" in that?,.. But I could understand.. Gang banging ain't easy,.. Anyways Homie wish the best in the years to come with your music, I always wanted see a famous
@khmer4real Well we need to start somwhere fam, if we aint got hope, we aint got nothing. Nothing in life is easy, especially if we were born with little or nothing. I don't think the youth experienced the killing fields first hand like their parents or grandparents did and so they shouldnt use it as a justifcation for their actions. We have many options here belive it or not, but we are so clustered and stuck in a nutshell that thinking outside the box is politically incorrect. peace brotha!
Speaking knowledge right there, especially about networking within your bloodlines. That's the thing with Polynesians... usually collab within with no drama, but that is not the norm for most on the streets. My filipinos, man it's a fuckin' fashion show most of the time. Always trying to top the other one instead of grabbing each other by the hand and coming up together. Same for my Latino side. I just wish that artists realize the power in numbers! Bigger hammers break down bigger barriers!
@BOBBYBLENDZ Its really hard to network with my people...we came from the killing fields from Cambodia and to get away from that and still the same drama. I know Filipinos have their issues too, but I see Filipinos really pull together as far getting jobs and other things. I don't know... I'm just trying to hit my peoples up, and trying pull together.. somehow..LOL its a strungle you know
shout to CS you doing it for the asian community -Night
