This is the best dubstep tune I've heard in a while. I love how it combines conventional songwriting and musicianship with an otherwise produced type of music. Very inventive.

@Britbadger I would disagree. Dubstep is an extremely broad genre. I think it includes what defines the genre. Al ot of dubstep is locked into the d'n'b inspired part of the genre, but that doesn't mean that that is what defines it. It's certainly new territory, but I think it fits. People call Burial's stuff dubstep, so why not this?

@Benjy3634 i totally agree with you on the dnb front, and how dubstep is a far bigger genre than a lot of people know outside of the grimey wobwob stuff people associate it with, but i wouldn't go as far as to say THIS was dubstep. down-tempo maybe? there definately needs to be a continuous (or at least a suggestion of) a beat...but then i don't make the rules. and these discussions have a tendency of going on for ages without any conclusion haha.

Didn't care for it overall. I like a few shots for the cinematography. I hate to say but I don't like music videos on the 'Future Shorts' channel. I liked it when they featured what I would call 'Movie or Cinematic' shorts. Just my humble opinion.

Both this and Feist's recording are beautiful in their own right. The original has much more hope, whereas James Blake captures the sorrow and bleakness in the lyrics and it stands on its own as an almost separate song. That's what makes a good cover.
