Well, the mellotron makes it sound like Strawberry Fields, but there is also a heavy Queen influence in there. There are some nice, unexpected chord changes in there, but the song itself is a mess.
What drives me nuts is not the plagiarism (all bands steal and borrow, McCartney even admits this) but how weak and pseudo-intellectual the lyrics are. "a world of sad and loneliness" doesn't even make sense. Do they mean "sadness"? And what do they mean by "fool of all the emptiness"? It's like
Very nice track. I can't believe I missed these guys back in the 90's....glad I finally found them. For all you naysayers, please remember imitation is the highest form of flattery!! Is it similar to Beatles etc...yes.... were the Beatles similar to earlier American blues....yes.... so who stole what from whom?? WHO CARES! It's all good music....just listen and enjoy!
Sounds a lot like the Beatles xD Makes me love it more :)

They do have a "QUEEN-Like" sound. Especially the chorus. Real great stuff.
I loved the Album!

It's a shame that Fool's Garden became famous for Lemon Tree only..
I mean, this album is a masterpiece, every track is amazing!

@jakobkuhne too true, not many albums out there that i actually like every track on, but this album is one of them.

I frickin' love this song!
Fools Garden may sound like a cut'n'paste version of other pritpop bands at times, but that doesn't make them any less spankin' good at what they do.
