I'm trying to think of all the great albums he's played on that are now 'classics'. Two that come to mind quickly are Bill Evan's 'Interplay' & John Lewis' little known '2 Degrees East, Three Degrees West' w Bill Perkins on tenor - it's titled 'The Encounter' now. Hall really contributed greatly & played so mature (intelligently) & he was like only 25 back then!
