@The170460 In that case, I'd really want to know where I can hear the Broadcaster (I thought that it was Telecaster, but I as mistaken) version, because I've read about it in books and on websites.
"I have read somewhere that this is the first song ever recorded with a Fender Broad/Telecaster. If so, It's hard to imagine." Arthur is playing an acoustic guitar on this 1945 recording that was first issued on Super Disc, and then reissued (same recording) in 1948 on MGM. He rerecorded it on electric later.
Finally found this particular "Guitar Boogie" after many years simply because I did not know the name of the original artist and the type of guitar it was played on, now I can die in piece, LOL and thanks for recording it.
WAY more catchy than DUBSTEP.

My uncle had this on an MGM .78. I have it on a re-issue .45 and on the MGM Million Sellers LP. Great country classic instrumental.

I have read somewhere that this is the first song ever recorded with a Fender Broad/Telecaster.
If so, It's hard to imagine.

@hitmansnightmare it's played on acoustic guitar not electric.

@The170460 Then it's another recording of Arthur Smith playing Guitar Boogie that I have in mind.
hitmansnightmare 1 month ago
@hitmansnightmare Arthur smith recorded it many time but the definitive version is the first one recorded on acoustic guitar.

A good quality recording. What's the source? I assume it's the 1948.
