That's true, Young makes 'live' sound really alive. Nonetheless, I heard this song live twice, and one performance was really great, but the other one was, sorry, pretty dull. Live anything can happen, I guess, and sometimes nothing does!

shakey has a point: not every fucked up guitar mess is 'transcendent', not even with neil young. Sometimes it's just plain dull. check out hurricane 76 for the difference.

I agree, with Neil, what you see is what you get, every time he plays it`s different, some bands i`ve seen have been so predictable i`ve might have well had stayed at home & put the LP on at it sounded exactly the same!

I don't think I've ever heard a song by Neil Young that was too long...they always seem just right. Moreso live......idk, oh well...
