  • Paul's O Holy Nite in Iceland, Dec 4, 2010 was Great. Noticed he got his teeth fixed. Looks better. Congradulations to Paul, he deserves the recognition of the talent God gave him. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

  • I say this with the greatest respect - Lesley Garrett is a beautiful and talented woman and by all accounts, and for all her artistry, she ain't a bit of a diva or a prima-donna. Paul Potts is very good too!

  • Amazing

  • GOD BLESS YOU PAUL!

  • They are both singing in the same key.

The main problem is those words she sang in the second verse.... where the hell did they come from?!?!?!?!?

Neither sang perfectly, but neither of them sang flat either. Her pronunciation of those weird words in the second verse are more questionable than his pitch.

  • There are no flat notes there it is a two part arrangement and it is flawless.

  • No, it was not torture and Paul was not off key for those who think he was. It's a two voice arrangement with upper and lower parts. He was good. Go forward, Paul.

  • Worst of all...he doesnt notice himself.

Pity cause i liked his sensitive voice very much.

  • Beauty and the Beast!

  • Unfortuantely Paul doesn't match up to Lesley here, whilst he does have talent, it has been overhyped somewhat, which this video shows.

He seems to have trouble with tuning and intonation, and in more than a few places, sounds weak and nasal.

Whilst he has undoubtedly given prominence to mainstream classical singing, he cannot be called the finished article by any means, and would benefit from intensivce training to bring him anywhere near the level shown by singers such as Watson and Jones.

  • Bravo.

  • My god this is terrible! Apart from Lesley of course!

  • My ears...! They're bleeding!

  • Very nicely performed. Imagine a full orchestra with background vocals. Hmmm.

  • Paul has said that he prefers full orchestras, but this is sublime, especially the last part, where their voices blend together.

  • It must be recorded like a Christmas Carol of the new milleniun.

Two voices that take us to reflexion, love and peace!

Two voices that complet each other, and makes the world best and more beautiful.

Thanks everyone that get this wonder to us, simple mortals.

  • Oh, what a pretty duet! Must have this for Christmas.

  • Thanks for sharing this postmanpat6! So beautiful! It must be the fisrt duetting with another singer in public.

  • I'm not normally moved by Christmas carols, but I was there. I'm no Lesley Garrett fan, but something, or someone (Paul?), made her crank it up, and the result is blissful.

Two real musicians, playing their voices as fine instruments. And the piano quintet still there: excellent.

Paul will need three discs to contain all the material he MUST have on his next album.

  • I agree, 1jammot! The interaction of their voices is magical. Paul has said that he takes energy from an audience, but this performance gives me the idea that he gains something special from singing with other good singers as well. Can't wait for that Pearlfishers duet!

  • What a beautiful duet....thank you for posting it!
