It's the world's largest aircraft. It is capable of carrying 660 short tons, including over 200 short tons on its fuselage. It needs 11,500 feet of runway to take off at maximum payload- and it's amazing it can manage to do that even from that length.

many years ago they brought this aircraft to an air show where I live and flew it around the city for a couple days to advertise the show and that they would have the 225 at the show. Incredible! This thing when it was circling the city hardly looked like it was moving it was so large.It just looked like it was hanging in the sky like a blimp.

Its almost always like this in the UK, you then get like, 3 weeks in the year where you might get some sunshine.
