This is some of the last great Jerry. I saw a couple of shows on this tour and they rocked. Well, as much as I could tell as a college sophomore. The music stands the test of time, not sure either of those haircuts do.
WOW!!! Is right. This is pure gold - one of my favorite Legion of Mary/JGB songs - and this is perhaps the best version I have ever heard - I don't think the grin will disappear from my face anytime soon. This is really special for sure. Thank you for sharing this - much appreciation.
WOW!! This was my wife and I first JGB show and what a night it was. All of the Dead shows that followed couldnt hold a candle to this show. We knew it was a great show but didnt really grasp how special it really was. Jerry, John Kahn, and Bruce all on the same stage and actually having a great time. I dont think a canon could have blasted the smile off of Jerry's face that night. Thanks so much for posting this.
Yea , Oh yea , I was at this one, right after the Capitol Center, Cold rainy Sat. Night and Everyone im mean everyone got in the show, tickets were plentiful. Out of 75 or so Jerry band shows i attended this was by far the best; especially the first set.
just in this 10 minute song jerry put out more energy than all of the 90's together look at the joy and happiness in his face and i have been catchin garcia shows since the 70's so i might have a clue
most dead shows during the 90's were real weak but it was always nice to catch garcia band shows because at least he wanted to be there and was having fun and his guitar playing showed it.did ya ever notice during ''jgb shows ''he never played that god awful midi?
bs, the fall 91 run was one of the best they ever did. and the midi was great, they all had one. 90 was a great year too. there was a reason why they released a video called down hill from here, from '89. i agree with everything else you say though
I cant believe my eyes! ShortiBigHead you rule and you are the flashback machine. I have been carrying that chunky melt of jerry goodness for nearly 20 years and it sounds exactly like I remember it! What a show that was! What a year 1991 was. And such fools we were to have not cherished them as much as we should have.
Thanks ! But why don't you put out ALL the other songs from this night ??? Come on man !!!???? Please (this angle is NOT the Lazy Cow angle).
