Btw all people have different tastes of DJ equipment... someone like vinyl. some prefer CDJ, and some people like doing their mixes on PC, which is in my opinion, the worst solution of this 3 mentioned... I really wouldn't recommend PC DJing unless you have thousands of pounds to spend or you're a 12 year old kid. Records may be more expensive than MP3 files but you have the freedom of having the music literally in front of you. There's only a limited amount you can do with the click of a button. Plus it looks fucking cool carrying in a set of 1210s into a party! lol

I picked up a vinyl table, i started spinning with vinyl. I switched because it just makes more sense, its cheaper (beatport), you have more freedom and are able to be more creative with the tracks (hot cue, loops).

Say what you want, CD's are here to stay and bitching about it wont change a thing.

You cant blame anyone these days for choosing cd/mp3 over vinyl. For people who still have a day-job it's a lot easier getting music from online stores like beatport for example, and you dont have to fill up your tiny apartment with vinyl records.
