you must not know either ladies very well if you compare them.

Only thing in common they have is the easy access to the high register. Period.

Mesplé was a rock solid French coloratura with style, elegance and technique.

She excelled in roles that space from French coloratura to Bel Canto and even a touch of Baroque.

You can't say any of that about Robin who just excelled at scooping out C7s.

I'm sorry but you just can't compare them... Mady can actually sing the coloratura, Mado just pretends to, with several ridiculously high notes to make up for it! Not saying I dislike either!
