Some people hold the MAGAZINE well rather than a vertical foregrip as holding the MAGAZINE well allows for much more accurate control of the weapon as your grip is closer to the weapons centre of gravity.

Also, holding the MAGAZINE well allows for faster reloading, as your hand is much closer to the MAGAZINE.

Oh, did I mention... MAGAZINE not clip...

The Thompson is a beast! Not only has the weapon a faschinating history (ww2, vietnam, mob wars), the construction of the gun seems so simple. Nothing at all like all the modern weapons you see today. And then I just love guns with wooden parts!

btw the only difference between the g36c and the g36 your talking about is that one is longer and usually has an integrated scope,the one your talking about is the G36k,the k is for kurz which in german is short,which relates to carbine...i know its confusing

Correct the G36c is G36 commando which is the carbine/ CQB Version and they are all made by H and K

Hey folks. Bit unrelated, but I was gonna buy a gun. I was thinkin' of buying the UTG Full Metal Tactical M4 (Full M16 style stock, and rail system). From the reviews I read, I heard it's good, and even a match for the Classic Army equivelent, or TM. I just want a second opinion. I know, M4's are too common, like AK's, but I like them. And most of the rifles I like don't have Airsoft versions (like the Tavor, or the full G36, none of that c or k crap). If you want, recommend another gun. Thanks!

ARES actually makes an airsoft Tavor. It looks really awesome but is 500 dollars off of airsoftgi, maybe not such a good choice if you don't want to spend a small fortune : /, i'd also look into a Sig like the 550 or 551, they're different from your average m4/m16

Skip out on the the Classic Army. They go for like $230. Spend $30 more and you can get the KWA version, with a reinforced body and metal gearbox, li-po ready, and instead of metal bushings, 9 and 8mm ball bearings. All for smooth performace and durability.

That's my G36 and it's a JG not a TM!

The JG is far better in terms of performance than the TM, however it lacks H&K trademarks, other than those I'd say it is as good as and in other ways much better, than the TM.
