@viceversusxX I understand they are shooting a movie, about a bicycle messenger on a fixed gear with no brakes, and in this movie he does ride fast. I'm sure he tried to skid to stop, but accidentally smashed into a taxi instead. And yes, those on the set don't want him to get hurt, but since the movie is about a messenger who doesn't equip his track bike with brakes (0:13) the chance of him getting hurt wile riding fast amongst cars is significantly more, movie or not, than someone with brakes.
