She is such an incredibly talented and versatile actor,she personifies intelligence,beauty dignity,humility,elegance - a really classy woman and such a wonderful role model. If only there were more actors like her, although Australia has produced some fine actors namely Nicole Kidman, Toni Colette,Naomi Watts...must be something in the water and then there's Guy Pearce and Russell Crowe (minus the boorishness) Quite a distinguished list all in all!

Cate Blanchett is so talented it's a shame she hasn't won an Oscar for Best Actress yet. Although she did win a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for The Aviator, it's not the same triumphant feeling. Cate Blanchett rocks!
