  • AHHH BUT THERE'S MORE!!! LOL

  • His good that is the first time someone is good in Expert Village

  • since i have started playing D&D its made me think things through more and over all made me smarter.

  • Hi, im doing this for class and im also in the geek category. I mostly play card games, IE: Yugioh, Pokemon Naruto... if someone hands me magic deck i could play... my question is, doyou have to make it around DnD or can we use our own time, places and other elements? i wanted to make a DC version, where i was a Green lantern and make everyone else a GL and we fight various villains... is that ok? r does it matter at all?

  • @DJHeroMist DC (and Marvel, even) have published their own role playing games... I would suggest starting there since the powers and abilities would be more appropriate to the superhero genre. You could also try RIFTS or GURPS which allow you to build whatever you want and still keep game balance. D&D heroes are not as strong as Superman, as fast as the Flash, and there are no technology rules. Converting D&D characters over to DC Universe would be cumbersome and ultimately ruin game balance.

  • @svirfneblina i see that makes sense....

  • Pause at 0:49

  • i dont have the board game but i want it, it sounds cool and also AHHHH theres more lol

  • AHH, theres more

  • THIS GUY IS THE ONLY EXPERTVILLAGE PERSON THAT ACUALY KNOWS SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE BASICS, HE ACUALY KNOWS STUFF.(i want moorrree of him)

  • I have my own version, I make my own rules. It is very simliar, but different than RPGs.

  • if ur playing the role of a character while leveling up and whatnot then its an rpg o.O just cos its not official doesnt mean its not a role playing game :)

  • I've always played D&D played it all the way through childhood, teenage years and im having a few years out in early adulthood to better my qualification, other than that, i would seriously suggest trying D&D it begins to make you think and realize what you do in life affects other aspects.

  • @AngealStigma my grandma asked me the other day if i'm performing satanic rituals when i play d&d... and if i really believe in magic. very sad day for me...

  • i may start D&D

    should I?

  • I'm giving D&D thought, but I don't have anyone to play with and I'm not sure an established group would want a newby 14yr old. respond if you live near Panama City FL.

  • tenth comment lol. I so want to get this but where would i find it? how expensive are the dice? how many do you need?

  • most bigger bookstore company has a limited stock of roleplaying books, hobby stores (specialy those focusing on warhammer fantasy/40K) tend to also host a few books and the dices. But in the end it´s best to just go to google and seach "roleplaying" and store + mayby where you live to find a store

  • DnD through ventrilo would seem kinda redundant unless those people were real friends who always play that moved away. otherwise... just keep it online, I would imagine.

  • i heard that some guys played d&d through Ventrilo...

  • this makes me want to try to play d&d but i have no one to play to =/

  • i meant no one to play with >_>

  • @yamimakaiz u could always ask people or google where to find people

  • @yamimakaiz DDO is a nice alternitive.....it is literally DnD boiled down into an mmo. Its great fun and you will make lots of friends. /user/TotalHalibut#p/c/2BD686CFA83EE56E/0/u3pIFNIBxZQ that is an example gameplay with commentary. it is lots of fun and the people who make the dungeons are not afraid to do some of the things other mmo's dont want to do.

  • @yamimakaiz search online for people that play it. or inspire friends

  • @mathkor89 i wish.. no people i know would take this type of game seriously.. it might just be the neighbourhood i live in, but still, tough luck i guess

  • @yamimakaiz I thought of a better idea if your really willing. there are websites the role play. so you roleplay online and have a session online.sounds very intresting but requires some work

  • hey, Im giving alot of thought about playing D&D, thanks alot!
