@AUR1221 My personal belief is that Amy Winehouse came damned close. Sometimes, I felt listening to her that she was channelling Billie. I love them both.
There's just something about her voice and the way it's recorded that makes it mesmerizing...I wouldn't mind hearing new songs recorded like this for old times sake
@DjShini That would require people now to actually have good voices without auto-tune. Not an amazing amount of those, unfortunately. At least, none that are actually famous.
@fyredancer911 Yeah, unfortunately most of the amazing voices choose to be or are kept out of the spotlight. Reminds me of one of my friends who has a beautiful voice - /watch?v=eBBasl3Hn3Q. I don't mean it to be an "advertisement", just an example of the talent that inhabits this earth :)
