There is a Canadian housing bubble and when it burst there will be much pain felt by the Canadian people. We need to tax land and other forms of economic rent in order to prevent bubbles in the first place. This will enable us to take taxes off the productive economy (labour, business, industry) thus making Canada a low cost, competitive economy.
tax land and other resourses? You get less of what you tax. Economic Freedom comes from low spending/low taxes and rule of law.
