still life sucks, ie vases and shite. didn't know you are an artist. man....... that was heavy. should i discuss the juxaposition of nearly recongizable objects with raw emotion? no....that would dilute the experience. you sir, are exactly what an artist should be, sharing the deep emotion inside and rejecting anyone's critique. i am in complete awe (and yes, i am being serious) peace

Thanx. I use bright colors to make people think about the hidden nature of the MEANINGS of the works. Not all "dark" art has to look dark. The contrast is yet another message of the works.

There have been many writers, artists, musicians and politicians over the years who've constantly pushed the boundaries only to be faced with criticism, but if these people didn't exist or just chose to give up then we wouldn't grow as a society.

You shouldn't have to hide who you are or what you've experienced, it's the culmination of things that have happened to us in the past that makes us who we are. No-one's perfect, but from what I can see you're already a better person than most.

Not just the art, but the story, the raw emotions that just flowed out of it. To me great art is when the artist gets you to feel what he/she felt when making it. This is great art. We felt it. K.H., As I look at the artwork I wonder wonder several things. Maybe you were viciously beat with a dead cat as a child. Perhaps some brutal attack at a juvenile detention center. Could be your were a special ops guy who used "classified techniques" to extract information from wicked,wicked people...whatever the case, maybe some simple anger management classes would help.
