@psn14dy "All My Loving" - it was a PAUL song, which was never released on a single. At that time, their output was so HUGE, they could relegate a great song like that to an album track ("With The Beatles" - originally released in '63).
I skipped school and stood cheering outside their hotel in the rain and went to see them play at The Stadium in Rushcutters Bay. What a blast that was!
@Jakaroo96 He did not play in Holland if you watch the performance in Holland it,s without Ringo.Maybe even the reason it was not 100%live the Beatle sang along live on tape;-) Lovely performance anyway
As a drummer who has played this song many times since it first came out:Hate to tell you, up to tracking #14 with, the close up of Ringo: the 2&4 beats Ringo is hitting on the snare drum (not cymbal)are backwards. IE: He's supposed to be hiting the snare on beats 2& 4 and it is synced as 1 & 3. clouldn't watch the rest.
I think ive heard this is on dvd but Im not sure, can anyone tell me where can I get it and thaaaaaaaaaaaanks morpheusatloopers u are off the hook,,,,,,
My pleasure. The issue of sync is a strange one. F'rinstance, across my THREE channels (this one, dorianstentorian and davidwrightatloppers) Ray Allen, Dudley Moore and Laurel & Hardy are in reasonable sync, but the Seekers would NOT sync - despite the original being perfect and me re-uploading it. YouTube say try a different system - but it took me long enough to master THIS one - and it usually works fine. However in THIS case, I think the original kinescope transfer is to blame.
what's the name of the song 4.14

The sheer genius of the Beatles is as breathtakingly fabulous today as it was in their heyday. How I miss them...
