i change the opening speed of my spinletto quite consistently by how big the cone is you roll at the end. i mean how far your hands are apart when you roll the cone. if one hand is at the lines, move your other hand further away when you are rolling. does this make sense? have a go at the nose tuck too
as far as the description goes Gs are positive not negative, negative Gs result in blood being pushed into the brain, a canopy opening always has positive Gs on ur body.
When I had the hard opening, I used tubes stoes (which were not tight enough I guess - might have caused a line dump ...) and I did Pro-pack the stiletto. I packed it the same way 250 times before and I always had nice opening.
I have reviewed my packing with a prfofessional and modified my packing technique:I now trash-pack the stiletto, and I have replaced the tube stoes with regular rubbers, which I double.
Since then my openings are a litte bit slower but soft.
@skyjoule do you tuck the nose and pull the slider out infront of the nose? Made all the difference...your canopy might like it, or not...worth a shot though

Just added a video of my old stiletto slamming me hard! Came out of nowhere, jumped it hundreds of times, allways opened good except that one!

It's pretty impossible to 'estimate' G-loading during a parachute opening.

May I ask how you pack your stiletto? I just had a hard opening that put me out of commission for a week. Neck is all messed up!

Was a great canopy except for the odd spanky opening given. Did my kneck some serious damage with one.
