People really try to get away with not training.get a vocal coach. At least for a while. A coach will pin point exactly what your problem areas are. Singing on the right note in straight tone is foundational. Once you do that well you can do other things. Also your vocal cords need to be trained. You must put in the time. Period.

I can sustain notes, and have a little bit of a vibrato but can't do it well all the times i want to. Only sometimes. Would you suggest keep practicing the slow semi-tone with gradual increase into a vibrato??
