  • epa i get 4 bonds now...

  • Your upload sucks. I get 7.5 down on a dpc2100r2 running haxoware on docsis 2.2.

  • Thanks man, I got this modem yesterday, I didn't know I could check the status of the modem just like a router. Next time I'll know.

  • I'm about to ask a question that some would call me stupid for but.... How are you monitoring your modem status, frequency, power levels... all that? Are you on a website or does the modem come with some software that I somehow missed?

  • @darkdestroyer32 No. Just type in modem's IP address. It is 192(dot)168(dot)100(dot)1 then bingo, you is in modem's information.

  • @darkdestroyer32 its the modems configeration page and info that is part of the modem itself no software install needed just type that ip ther other guy told you put it in your web browser such as ie or firefox

  • @darkdestroyer32 that ip is actualy standard on about 97% of all cable modems on most brands some brands might have a diffrent ip number usualy the manual will tell you the number if not you can look it up by your model number of your modem and brand

  • good. just making sure. =] if you changed the splitter out, and you 4-8, whats your return at now?

  • @gununit1040 still @ 5 dBmv on both 2 bonding channels.

  • You're levels on the motorola page are shit. depending on where you live, you'll burn out your modem in about a year or so. just an fyi.

  • @gununit1040 I know. I notice that and changed the splitter and amp to get at least. At this time, We still get average 4-8 dBmV.

  • How do you get the Cable modem to bond (to get the blue light)? Do I have to upgrade my Internet service plan? or there is some firmware to upgrade to the modem? Right now I have my SB6120 but I only get max 33.20 mbs download and 5.69 mbs upload through Cox communication in Orange County California.

  • @tonyeaglesalinas, Depending on your ISP. If they upgrading (when u see many Cox truck setting new something), that mean they are working on DOCSIS 3.0 upgrade. I still use Cox preferred with 20/2 but there still got 2 bonding channels. Ask Cox Tech on DSLReports to ask them about that.

  • got it yet??????????

  • @JpRUBB1SH,

    what u talk about?

  • I just got my SB6120 CABLE MODEM and now have 100/100 :D Roadrunner Extreme :D

  • damn ur lucky. how much $ per month u got 100mbps tier?

  • @choppergage 99.95

  • sweeet

  • when u gonna get that 50Mb tier from Cocks? lol :P

  • lol. will get Cox Ultimate very soon
