This guy in the video lacks completely of the sense of framing...Don't think is a professional photographer...might be an employe of the mcdonalds near canon headquarters.

I would have done a better tutorial.

what on earth were you thinking when you put a video up at 680x480 resolution??? You are showing pictures with 18 megapixel resolution, you should of COURSE have at least 1080p to show some of the details of the pictures.

And it would be nice of you if you focused on all of the different lenses you have, and mabe show some picture difference between them. The BIGGEST problem people have when looking at what lenses to buy is wether or not it is worth the purchase.

please concider it.

@prowled who the fuck are looking on youtube for sampleshoots? just google lens tests and you will find pictures for download, also the only pictures you really can see the sharpnes on is unsharpened raw-files.

But still i agree that canon should put up alteast 720p though they are a camera manufacture and developer..

@aleksandersandstrom they show sampleshots, therefore they should ajust their resolution acordingly. I agree that it isn´t ideal to base your opinion on a medium that can´t even show the resolution of the actual shot. HOWEVER, if you are suposed to see the difference in debth of field, then you actually have to have a resolution that allows you to do so.

As for where i can see sharpness... that depends more on the camera,stillness and megapixels than the file.

@prowled sharpness has barly anything to do with megapixles, and the little it do are that lower mp often mean sharper images.

the edit and the photography is 99% of the sharpness, if you want to see that, you should look after shoots on brickswalls on a tripod, preferably the raw-file

but yes the dof wuld be better shown in HD but on the other hand that can you calculate on phones thiese days.if you see it in a video its still pointless if you dont now how far and on what mm hi is shooting.
