  • It makes me happy to see that you were civilized when you were discussing hip-hop!

  • UN5EEN CREW

  • Shit Goes Hard

  • ! DOPE !

  • This track is still amazing. I remember hearing around early 2000 and taping it off a late night college radio show. This instrumental's got such an otherworldy vibe and Yak ballz simply killed this track. Mondee killed it on production for sure.

  • anyone know the sample???

  • Im lovin all these comments... Im still a fan of old school YAK BALLZ... way more grimey beats and jus pure evil shit.... I miss thous days !!!! this is nostagic for me... brings back memories !!!! check my page....

  • dopeee

  • this beat makes me wana spit

  • sooo fuckin sick! Cage Should of been on this to he would of ripped it up

  • shit is fuckin illllllllllll

  • i dont know who that drewdonham kid is but he took the words right out of my mouth. i feel the same way. i like the juggaknots sample in this by the way.

  • yea the breez bruin "a bad ni**a when it comes ta grabben mics" is a nice cut....but i dissagree with drew..i like y@ks recent approach to music. its progressive and artistic. Think about it kids Meet the Beatles does not sound like Abby Road!

  • I don't find it being progressive at all. It's simply him trying to be more marketable. There's more emo/mainstream people out there than true hip-hop heads that listened to yak back when he dropped home piss and other classics on fondle 'em records. It's not him being more artistic, its just him switching styles up to try and sell more records.

  • You might be right...however you need to consider the possabilty that he might not want to approach his music the way he did 10 years ago because hes board and unsatisfied with that style. Im sure he considered the fact that he was gonna lose some fans and gain a few...music reflects the artist..not the fans..

  • I have considered the possibility. Having watched many interviews, he was stuck at a desk job for some corporation and he obviously wasn't pleased with it. This seems to have been the impetus to create more commercially viable music. And to say that music reflects the artist and not the fans is simply untrue. 90% of rappers these days consider their possible fan base and then create songs based on what that fan base would want. Hip hop is becoming less and less an expression of self.

  • I agree in partial with you...I would like to think that the 90% of hiphop of wich you speak of is based on marketing and trends for profit and commercialism...Thats why you and i are aware of better music such as Yak, Aesop Rock, and Cage and so on.I would like to think these artist dont compromise there music to make more profit then they

potentially can. Hey weather classic fondel'em Yak or new Scifen Yak, i thinks its all good music and i respect your opinion and good taste in music..peace

  • i dunno homie...alot of his new shit is speaking out against corporations and shit...so it's not like he totally sold out...he just kinda grew up a little bit and his style matured...i like his old shit better, but like other dude said, music should reflect the artist and not the market...mainstream got it backwards

  • this flossin, homework, true city killers, volume all on top level hip hop, he needs to stop hangin out with those el-p hangar 18 slow suicide stimulus dudes and come out with some stuff reminiscent of old school mobb deep old school louis logic. same with louis he needs to come out with some new dope shit, i dont know where they lose their motivation

  • back in the day when yak wasnt wack as fuck..
