@conor0044 Thank you! I am nearing completing my wreck model so there will a new video coming soon. As for raising the Titanic, there would be almost a 100% chance of it falling apart during the accent. even though only 20-40% of the iron in the ship has been eaten away, it is simply far too weak. And besides, Titanic is a grave so I think she should stay where she is. A whole Titanic on the ocean floor is more captivating then if the ship were to be raised and displayed.
Not a chance in hell. It's only a decade or two before the superstucture collapses and the ship becomes another "Lusitania" which today looks like a heap of twisted metal that bears no resemblance to the ship it once was.
Now while you mention the 1500 or so souls that perished on the Titanic do you care for the 9400 German souls that died on the Wilhelm Gustloff when it was torpedoed in the Baltic Sea by a Soviet sub? It was mostly German refugees fleeing.
Aside from the 9400 Germans that perished in the worst maritime disaster in wartime, the worst sinking in peacetime was in 1987 when the MV Dona Paz sank outside the Phillipines, killing 4375, yes almost three times as many as the Titanic. Ever heard about THAT sinking??
What about the sinking of the MV Le Joola in 2002 outside Senegal? 1863 dead. 10 years ago. More dead than the Titanic. Heard about that one?
@McLarenMercedes I know of all three sinkings and each year I commemorate each one; just not as openly because the loss of these three ships is not well known (and they really should recieve more attention) among the public. I have never said that the sinking of the Titanic is the worst maritime disaster; It is by far the most famous.
@coupedevillekid Thank you! I have since further enhanced the accuracy of the wreck since my last videos and it is nearing completion so when I get the time, i'l make another update video.
@SuperTerminatrix Minicraft 1/350 and academy 1/400. I am planning to do more 1/350 work next year but my next build which I will be starting in a couple of weeks is the Revell 1/400 Queen Mary 2 measuring in at 86.5cm's.
well because of this video my friend tomorrow I will be doing more details on my wreck mode. I saved some of your wreck model photos so I can get mine more accurate
@SuperTerminatrix Happy to help in anyway I can. To get the effect of twisted steel on the stern, wet some paper and glue it to various spaces on the stern and repeat the painting processes I told you about.
Please I request u that, I am from India & I am toooooooooooooo much Titanic ship lover...& I want constructed models of the Royal Mail Steamer Titanic (not wreck model).....In India, not this mode available in shop........Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee will u send me this type of model on my address??????? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE
@mmahesh911 I'm sorry, but my models are not up for sale/donation. However, you may be able to purchase a model through ebay. You will also need all the necessary tools and paints to build the model.
@Rapidnadion Thank you! The wreck is constructed using the Minicraft 1/350 deluxe museum edition kit with photo-etched brass. Might I say that you videos are fantastic. They are very well done.
these both look amazing ecspecialy the wrecked on and how did u make the wreked one did u buy a titanic model and beat the crud out of it and shape it?
@vegitibles The wreck model actually looked like the one that is in perfect condition after i made it but unfortunatley my two young nephews got to it, thought it was a bath toy and damaged it beyond repair. So I decided I would turn it into a wreck model. I used a heat gun to get the effect of twisted steel and I glue sand all over the hull using PVA glue mixed with water to age it. Then after painting I embedded the wreck in a base of ply wood and plaster of paris and added debris :)
@SSPoseidon846 welll its look superb like i would even try and finish up the wrkecked on u knoe like the sea floor and try and put it up in a titanic museum due like no joke i would pay money for that its AWSOME relly a great job
@MrTitanicfanatic2 Rigging, snapped off the masts, snapped off funnels 1, 2 and 4, broke off part of the aft docking bridge, broke 2 blades off the port side propellor, snapped off a few davits and lifeboats, a few air vents were damaged and they broke the stand. I was out and my niece (who is actually allowed in my room) went into my room to get some of my art pencils and forgot to close my door.

@conor0044 That being said, studies are being conducted and we may see advances that will allow the ship top be prserved on the ocean floor.
