this song is barely good, peopleon this site bitching bout new hip hop and alltht shit dnt even know wats good. they just know what they are supposed to think is good, this whole album is arely average ud know tht if u actually listened. but no its fromthe 90s and by tribe so ppl will say its great even if they cant realy figure out if it is or nnot.
@JiMMyJaM08061991 this is barely good for what is 'good'. you are right man. everyone articulates and interprates on youtube. inspite of all that is wrong with music and i'm using 'music' as a metephor it is important that you speak about what is right. peace
Shit..Terrance Howard in Hustle & Flow sounds better than todays rappers..did he write those lyrics?...if not, at least his delivery was better than these youngs and lil's and draculas of today...O oh.....wheres that soldier gurl at nowadays?...todays kids are dummyfied!!
I hate it when people blame lil wayne for the downfall of today's music. Don't blame the guy cause he played his chips. Blame the consumer. Blame yourselves.
@ChiefRockaa420 why 'yourselves' we hate the faggot. we are listening to this for a reason. maybe the people they brainwash. but fuck out of here w| blame yourselves. smh.
@1761341 When I say 'yourselves' I'm not aiming directly at a particular person. This was aimed at us as a society. There was no apparent alternative to artists like Lil Wayne, and to call him a 'faggot' is ignorant. It's bigotry like that that put off so many artists that maybe could have changed the game.
@ChiefRockaa420 he is a faggot. I never seen a straight person kissing another man... And there's more, but I don't want to get in to the other stuff so ima just leave it at that!
yo yo yall this is real music right here yall lol...as a 90's kid i luv the feeling lol...man yall i really need for yall to check out this group named "Good Vocation"...they are dope...idk where these guys came from...real talk...check it out yall
check out the Good Vocation - far away, its a marsha ambrosius remake but not the same subject matter...its DOOOPE them dudes flipped it so cold...check out all of there music word up and check all the other music...they remind me of atcq
@jjammmees you don't know Lil Wayne the rapper from Ca$h Money Records and the founder of Young Money Records the one with Nicki Minaj and Drake on the label and who use autotune in his raps or if you want to go look him up on you tube!
@MeAgainstTheRadio They cannot have music that appeals to a certain group anymore. In other words, the music you hear today is supposed to appeal to a wider range of listeners. That shit u hear on the radio is apparently preferred over this fresh music. It gives radio the advantage to just make a song list without much thought to the music. It seems like it's not the artists that make the music but it is the industry. The music industry seems run by stupid people who don't care about music.
@W6S0A4 radio has always been tht way. do u think songs like calafornia love, juocy, big poppa, mo money more problems and hypnotize are for hardcore hip hop fans. no they were for the mainstream, thy were there for the non hip hop fans, appealing to the widest range as possible should be the fucking goal.
@W6S0A4 no! this song about phony rappers was made in what 1996, its not about wayne or any new school rapper. it was made in the golden age of hip hop. which proves tht people just like to bitch, they been bitchin since the dawn of time. and some moron istening to one tribe song and boastin bout it talkin bout phonies. and real shit doesnt actually holds any merit.
@JiMMyJaM08061991 thats right. it changed because this song is bitchen and those people always get the upper crust and thats how they lord over the radio and mass broadcast their bullshit and some suckers believe it. this is real hip hop music without the bullshit and unfortunately people believe bullshit more than they do what's real. I'm rationalizing because I don't know but I won't bullshit about what I think. Music today is contrary to my beliefs.
@JiMMyJaM08061991 alright so you think i'm bitchin. that is proof that people don't know what they are talking about and maybe you are boastin about phonies so you callin me out is hypocritical. and you called me a moron so you're a moron too then I guess. the thing that people are bitchin about today they don't have a clue about, and that is why they be bitchin about things. plus it's like they don't want to learn so they are ignorant. what u mean real shit holds no merit?
@JiMMyJaM08061991 is it possible that you can explain this because you might be on to something. Like the music had to rangle? Even 50 Cent, one of the biggest names in mainstream rap used to talk about those guys in interviews but I noticed that he doesn't do as many interviews anymore. Do you think that journalism has a negative impact on mainstream artist's careers maybe?
Classic. We have to be thankful for being able to listen to this on YouTube, especially if some of us didn't have the CDs. MTV can suck it! The "rap" now a days has nothing on these old school hip hop classics.

For all the Tribe fans: just ignore those little kids and enjoy the fact that YOU are listening to the BEST hiphop music thats out there!!
man, the dude speaking at the end really hit the nail on the head.

they made such a good team and busta was a nice addition when he did stuff with them. Its cool to know that they got back together and are now touring.
@AnimationManiac wooooooow really? i understand you rather here golden age hip-hop but i might as well tell you and ajgraciani this, you guys and those that liked wat you said did not listen to the song. the song was never about them. it was about average people or rappers like you, who thought just because they are mainstream they couldn't hold themselves down.
@AnimationManiac i want 2 also touch up on the fact that hip-hop/rap music has it's own genere u cant hate on a different genre just because it's mainstream and get radio play alot. let me also say those rappers are in music for the same purpose in hip-hop the real reason hip-hop is dying is because the industry pushes the genre not the rappers (well the ones that are in it for the love) and the complaining fans cuz they would rather listen 2 1 genre.
take soulja, gucci and wayne off that list and Im good to go, it's real pitty that people who listen to these nice old school jams became such a self-pittying, sorry ass bunch hatin on a brothers trying to make some though. on every single ole skool video same old story, people hatin on people for makin money. listen to the jams and stop bitching, for gods sake, if u cant accept the game change.
@borchabronx that's the problem, they're just trying to make money. There is no conviction in their lyrics. I don't hate on them for trying to make money. I hate on them because they suck.
not all of them suck, most of them yes, but not all of them. anyhow, what Im just sayin is that these people who cruise around YT and settle their complexes on old school videos are as lame (maybe even more) than those people they re hatin on
@borchabronx dude all of them suck no one hates on them i pretty sure everyone who think they suck are very content and happy with their lives but accourse you think its all about the money for the people out there who are not shallow and materialistic money has shit to do with why they don't like them it because they are phoney rappers everything that true hiphop is not, no one settle their complexes ok people who really love hiphop don't want keep hearin the same bullshit that is force on them
@borchabronx if you like it kid that's find no one really cares but don't tell nobody about their music that you proberly was to young to remember, don't tell nobody how they should feel it youtube self expression when you look up these classic videos shut up and appreciate it or go on no one want to hear you bitch either if you like wayne gucci and soulja boy so much please kid do us a favor go watch them but leave the grown people to enjoy there music and shut up
@mikea731 and that folks is the truth!!...i dont hate those phony computerized musicians either...i dont know them personally but what i do know is- my speakers or tv dont play that nonsense...i love all kinds of music, and artists if they have talent....the above mentioned dont have talent and they set an uneasy mood..i think thats why we dislike them..you gotta remember how mc's had to fight and scrape and come correct to get a record deal..now its shoes that light up..oh sign that guy*snort*

Phife killed it so hard on this track...Q had the voice but, objectively, he isn't the greatest rapper...Sometimes he's rather blah.

Phony rappers:
Soulja Boy, Lil Wayne, Drake, Flo Rida, Yung Joc, Lil Jon, New Boyz, T-Pain, and Gucci Mane.
And not to mention the worst rapper of the 90's, Vanilla Ice!
TCQ are true rappers.

@AnimationManiac were there any black people who liked vanilla ice?....dat nigga gay lol
dirtyplaya 1 year ago
@AnimationManiac wooooooow really? i understand you rather here golden age hip-hop but i might as well tell you and ajgraciani this, you guys and those that liked wat you said did not listen to the song. the song was never about them. it was about average people or rappers like you, who thought just because they are mainstream they couldn't hold themselves down.
jhammaster 1 year ago
@AnimationManiac i want 2 also touch up on the fact that hip-hop/rap music has it's own genere u cant hate on a different genre just because it's mainstream and get radio play alot. let me also say those rappers are in music for the same purpose in hip-hop the real reason hip-hop is dying is because the industry pushes the genre not the rappers (well the ones that are in it for the love) and the complaining fans cuz they would rather listen 2 1 genre.

@AnimationManiac
take soulja, gucci and wayne off that list and Im good to go, it's real pitty that people who listen to these nice old school jams became such a self-pittying, sorry ass bunch hatin on a brothers trying to make some though. on every single ole skool video same old story, people hatin on people for makin money. listen to the jams and stop bitching, for gods sake, if u cant accept the game change.
ok ? and Im out like a trout
borchabronx 1 year ago
@borchabronx that's the problem, they're just trying to make money. There is no conviction in their lyrics. I don't hate on them for trying to make money. I hate on them because they suck.
mikea731 1 year ago 3
@mikea731
not all of them suck, most of them yes, but not all of them. anyhow, what Im just sayin is that these people who cruise around YT and settle their complexes on old school videos are as lame (maybe even more) than those people they re hatin on
borchabronx 1 year ago
@borchabronx dude all of them suck no one hates on them i pretty sure everyone who think they suck are very content and happy with their lives but accourse you think its all about the money for the people out there who are not shallow and materialistic money has shit to do with why they don't like them it because they are phoney rappers everything that true hiphop is not, no one settle their complexes ok people who really love hiphop don't want keep hearin the same bullshit that is force on them
blackYUGMinds 1 year ago
@borchabronx if you like it kid that's find no one really cares but don't tell nobody about their music that you proberly was to young to remember, don't tell nobody how they should feel it youtube self expression when you look up these classic videos shut up and appreciate it or go on no one want to hear you bitch either if you like wayne gucci and soulja boy so much please kid do us a favor go watch them but leave the grown people to enjoy there music and shut up
blackYUGMinds 1 year ago
@mikea731 they put no effort into their songs anymore!!
if they are tired at the end of the day its becuase they jumping around and screaming lookin like idiots all day..
man that aint hard work
davidptapia1 1 year ago
@mikea731 and that folks is the truth!!...i dont hate those phony computerized musicians either...i dont know them personally but what i do know is- my speakers or tv dont play that nonsense...i love all kinds of music, and artists if they have talent....the above mentioned dont have talent and they set an uneasy mood..i think thats why we dislike them..you gotta remember how mc's had to fight and scrape and come correct to get a record deal..now its shoes that light up..oh sign that guy*snort*
