texting the customer with expected delivery time bad idea ,the customer still needs to be at home for the full duration of their slot so why try to predict the drivers delivery time.Why not reduce the slots to 1 hour instead of two hour .Their is so much can go wrong especially in the rural enviroment that can totally alter your delivery schedule.

depends if the customer has the choice to turn on or off this service as usually they just shove it down your throat.
