Fiberglass is the worst thing to use as a block above a top plate. It doesn't stop air flow, has near zero R value when air is moving through it, and it won't resist dense packing of cellulose. It will just push out into the soffit channel.
Sorry, but you can't purchase rigid baffles at the big box hardware stores.
u can buy these pre-made are quite rigid enough for us. also we would take fiberglass batts and cut pieces of them to close up the hole over the top plate.
