Forrest miht not be able to beat Shogun standing, that would be a dumb strategy. But on the ground, Forrest can beat Shogun. Shogun only looked ood against stand up fighters. Once Shoun faces good wrestlers with cardio that repeatedly take him down, then it's a different story. Go back to the Mark Coleman fight. Fighters like Rashad and John Jones will match up very well aainst Shogun.

i didnt say anything about shogun being in shape.. im saying machida is the best of the best dont get me wrong shogun is a good fighter. but hes just not the same fighter from pride. if we see the shogun from pride he could very well win. im just saying i highly doubt machida will lose this fight

the only difference between him now and from pride is his conditioning. he came in much better condition vs chuck and will most likely be 100 percent against machida. machida has not fought anyone nearly as dynamic as shogun. shogun will take it

lol lets see him take on a 100% health shogun he says. honestly dude lets see it i would pay for the fight and enjoy every second of another ass whooping. i dont even understand the concept of everyone hanging on shoguns tip. hes not the best at 205 and hes not even in the top 5 ranks yet. he took a huge jump from pride to ufc and hes paying for it now. but really if i could set up a forrest shogun rematch i would only because it will shut up some shogun fans for a while. shogun isnt bad though.

I don't know if "walk through Griffin" is accurate. I believe he could beat him. On another note, Coltendope, I wasn't talking about conditioning or cardio or anything like that, I was saying that he will be both physically and mentally ready for this fight. He has until October, that is a long time from now and everyday he is making his skills able to match his skills in pride. Just trust me when I say Shogun can win this fight.

I know this sounds bad but I just can't get myself to take interest in Forrest at all, champion or not. I like the fact that he's a high-ranked light-heavy fighter just due to the fact that it would be a higher-stakes fight for the other light-heavy fighters that I actually like and that a win over Forrest would be considered a credible win.
I just dont have any interest in his style, demeanor, or personality. I respect his hard work but my loyalty's to old-school Chute, Page, Machida, and LidL

Rampage and Evans are the same fighter. I don't like Evans at all. I haven't really seen him do anything impressive. Not to bash the guy because his record speaks for himself but I watch him fight and always think someone should beat him and they don't. I think Machida is kind of boring but it's marketed as a sport. Machida is smart and a great fighter. He picks his strikes, stays away from danger and isn't impatient. I think Dana White is afraid to give him a title shot.
