Aha, how much lift force compared to weight? Ordered one with 60 KG lift force and i'm thinking of ordering 3 more.

I'm playing with the thought of getting some kopper coils as well in large quantities to get even more out of it, that would be 60 KG x 4 which equals 240 KG and with the combination of electromagnetism, it would be multiplied even more, right?

That's OK. The dangers may not be apparent until you feel the power of these large neodymium magnets yourself. They are so powerful that if you happen to get your fingers stuck between this magnet and a large metal object (or even worse: another big magnet) you are lucky if you escape with only a flesh wound. They can easily break bones and people have lost part of their fingers with these magnets. They are also brittle and can shatter on impact sending shrapnel at high speeds.

No, it would be impossible to balance. For magnetic levitation you need some other tricks like spin stabilization (search 'levitron'), electromagnetic levitation where a electromagnet is controlled by an electronic circuit or - in small scale - diamagnetic levitation.

It's hard to list all safety issues in a comment but the most important for large neodymium magnets is that they are powerful enough to destroy fingers! Search Youtube for 'neodymium magnet accident' and a video with the title 'Neodymium N45 magnet accident - The healing process...' should turn up. Warning: contains bloody pictures and a nail ripped off a finger!

And remember that magnets have no safety features - they are always 'turned on' and waiting for you to make a mistake...

N52 is the strongest grade available commercially. When you buy a neodymium magnet you will meet this grading in the specifications and I just wanted to help you in the right direction.

You clearly haven't done any research so you are not ready to handle big neodymium magnets. Start with some very small ones of high grade like N50 (or even N52) and get ready to have your fingers hurtfully pinched. When you're new in neo-magnets you should spend your money on high grade instead of large size. Two small magnets with a true grade of N52 will not disappoint you!

Some speakers actually have neodymium magnets but you're probably thinking about the ceramic ferrit magnets from 'classic' speakers. Their energy product is max. 3.5 MGOe. The neo-magnet in this video is more than 10 times stronger: 40-42 MGOe (grade N42). A N52 is of course even stronger for it size with an energy product of 50-52 MGOe.

You need to search the web for a local internet store. I haven't found one that will ship to your country but there must be a local one.

There are probably some eBayers with 'optimistic' grade ratings but I wouldn't worry to much about it. All neodymium magnets are extremely strong in large sizes regardless of grade.

If you stay away from suspicious low prices on high grade magnets you can safely shop magnets on eBay.

If your in the USA there are alot of web sites selling neo magnets. For example kjmagnetics which seems alright (and gets good ratings in their e-bay shop). They sell pretty large magnets at their website (but not on e-bay as far as I bothered searching).

I have no personal experience with them though as I live in Europe and bought my magnet at a danish auction site.
