  • Hey, love the vids! Quick question, how did you create the bar with the train info and the NS logo!?!?!

  • @DelayInBlock Thanks! I created that bar custom in Paint.net. Then I use my video editor to overlay the text.

  • @288jh ok

  • Great shots! Is that a N&W J class whistle she's wearing?

  • @indie1361 Sorry, I don't know much about whistles. I couldn't say. Thanks for the comment, though!

  • @csx6900 ok

  • is that 611's whistle on 630

  • @trainmanjg611 Sorry, I'm not much of an expert on whistles. I couldn't tell you.

  • @trainmanjg611 That is a Virginia and Southwestern 3 chime, last worn on TVRM 610

  • Great video!

I wonder what that dispatcher thinks about when he hears those TA repeats punctuated by a whistle instead of a horn...

  • @wurlitzer153duplex Heh, he had to ask the crew to repeat it back several times because the whistle drowned out the crew. It was quite funny at times, although I'm sure it didn't make the dispatcher happy.

  • Great video Evan. Kinda weird to hear a modern grade crossing bell and see Southern 630!

  • @SEABOARDSYSTEMfan Thanks! Yeah, I know what you mean lol. 630 seems out of place in a lot of these scenes.

  • Another excellent video, Evan.

  • @kenjr29mfl Thanks, Ken!

  • Love the video!

  • @csxnstrainman Thanks!

  • Awesome video, Evan! I like how you get the surrounding action as well. It certainly makes the footage complete. The 630 looks real good!

  • @brickbuilder711 Thanks, Tolga! Yep, TVRM did a great job.

  • Love it!!!

  • @dwkcamman611 Thanks!

  • Loved this! Excellent job Evan! 5 days and im up there!! Can't wait.

  • @cobras84robinjd Thanks, Joe! Can't wait to see ya!

  • Great job, Evan! It's been a long process to get steam rolling again, but I love it now that it's up!

  • @trainkid16 Thanks, Chip!

  • Sweet vid love that whistle I find it interesting that the whistle chords on Southern engines are a metal bar instead of a rope

  • @trainboy94 I noticed that as well. I think it might just depend on the steam locomotive. Thanks for the comment!
