  • Sick looking Kia! Kia is improve alot

  • They should of named it the Kia Faggot.

  • @DivinityOfDoom ...why the fuck would they name it after you?

  • @thechildrenzplace Because I like dick and jizz.

  • This is just from experience, but up until 3 years ago, KIA cars were not that great in build quality compared to Toyota, let alone Honda. Toyota did have many concerns, and KIA is indeed improving, but even on the new model KIA Forte, I noticed the plastic trim, even electrical parts are not enduring as well as i had hoped. And from a 2.4 liter SX model engine, I would really expect much more "go." My Honda Fit's 1.5 Liter actually has more responsiveness, which is depressing considering.

  • @VietnaMilk I'll agree with you that the Fit's 1.5L is more responsive, but man is it slow. It's damn damn slow. I love my Forte' though. Before buying it, I put it up with the 10' Fit and I couldn't have made a better decision. I love the rated 156HP/144TQ. Only if the torque was a bit more down low, it'd be great.

  • thumbs up if you want to stop the commercials before each freaking video !!

  • OMG!!!!!!! that car just gave me Goosepimples on my Goosepimples, its an Extremely Exciting car this is................says the ad. ahahahah

  • FOCKERS BABYS... KIA IS THE BEAST....!

  • dont buy korean car ok.not safety.

  • Looks like a nice lil car. People forget that not long ago Toyota n Honda were not reliable & a joke to drive/buy. They were not taken seriously but, they forged ahead & thru trial n error they have became very respectable companies. The Korean car companies are still fairly new & in time will prove their mettle just like the Japanese did. Ha remember Sony & Panasonic? Now its Samsung & LG selling the most TVs (give or take).

  • very ugly car.not buy it.korean car are not good

  • @srkkroh791.. idiots still swimming in ancient 12 ~20 years ago, update yo ape head, Low cost/high quality Korean cars are the result of super modern, efficient facility & wise management, Dont be shy jerk, go for the best value ,with your hard-earned buck, bruising yo ass, Only car manufacturer, that can compete with Hyundai/Kia is Porsche from 2010 Mid-Lx level, by German auto magazines..

  • @eccotoni9 my father bought new kia spectra 1.6.only many month have the engine problem.but my toyota cannot give me problem for many years. Also my proton persona(Malaysia made) are more good handling than korean car.so what?

  • @srkkroh791 The Toyota in my house is the trouble maker, engine overheating, stalling itself, engine oil leaking, POWER WINDOWS not working (wow) and dashboard knock knock noises...I hate Toyota now. Do you know how old is the spectra? The Forte is a whole new car. Plus Kia is improving..Toyota is going downhill. Proton is like 4D, all depends on your luck.

  • which one do you guys recommend. forte koup or the other one? im assuming the other forte is more expensive?

  • the is copy SCION TC

  • love it! i like this car and Proton Persona this two car is the chosen one

  • dun compare foreign car with locals....we are far behind from their tecnology

  • @bkc4555 finally someone who realised it! it was about time.

  • the kia spectra looks like a horrible squirrel compared to the forte. Good job Kia!

  • i think Kia should keep Peter for another 100 years. thank him for the cool sporty looks!

  • my parents went for a pike ride today and next thing i know when they come back home, they bought a brand new kia forte.

  • @allpurerandomstyle i m gone a buy one too but confused between mazda 3 2011 and kia koup sx

  • @dhruvilshah30 Thats a tough one. All depends on your taste. If your all about handling, fun to drive, and willing to sacrifice a little space get the 3. If your on a tight budget, yet want alot for your money, and a small vehicle with reasonable space the forte would be better. Although I am pretty sure the forte has frightening depreciation because of Kia's reputation.

  • @BCCHSMD thing is can i trust this car for long trip every two month.

  • @dhruvilshah30 I believe you can as long as you keep up with regular maintenance. My mother had a Kia Sephia for 8-9 years and never had any major problems. Although if you want reliability no questions asked, The Honda Civic would probably be best.

  • @dhruvilshah30 of course you can trust it in the begining its brand new if it cant last take it to a dealer and theyll fix it free. but in the long run a Honda will always last longer then a Kia

  • @dhruvilshah30 I drove a Mazda 3, and I believe it is a very Fun car to drive. I appreciate that they come with 4-wheel independent suspension w/ rear Multi-link, giving you great cornering performance and ride comfort. The power out is average, unless u get the Mazda speed, but throttle response is perfect and makes it feel faster; it has great low-end to mid-end power. The shifting was "okay" but i'm personally used to solid precise Honda transmissions, so its definitely more forgiving.

  • I got the dark gray one 2011...awesome....well for one thing is a family sedan...but trust me...it is a beautiful car...attracks many people when I am in the downtown...@ Guayaquil, Ecuador...I'll try the xenon front lights next year...greetings!!!

  • @romnyyepez i heard there is a problem in shifting. and everything feels like cheap plastic?

  • I bought the dark gray one...awesome....well for one thing is a family sedan...but trust me...it is a beautiful car...attracks many people when I am in the downtown...@ Guayaquil, Ecuador...I'll try the xenon front lights next year...greetings!!!

  • I've never liked the styling of the Korean cars (except the 2nd last gen Tiburon and Sonata) but this time Kia has got the styling dead on! It's rare to be able to create an attractive styling you could carry across the model line-ups. Can't say the same for Hyundai though, they took the worst of the Toyota swoopy lines and ran with it. Hideous, IMHO.

  • Ooo I like the white one in the background with the black roof. Nice! :P

  • God that interior is ugly...but everything else sounds at least decent.

  • maby good but the design is acheap copy of the honda acord

  • @AVIV222

its better looking than the honda accord

  • costs 37.000 USD in brazil =/

  • The fundamental difference between a Forte and it's primary competitors, the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, is that fifteen years from now, you'll still see 2010 Civics and Corollas on the road while odds are, most of these Kias whill be long dead and buried in the scrap yard with the exception of a smattering of Spectra enthusiats who keep them alive and give them a cult following like the Chevy Vega or AMC Pacer.

  • These cars are competitive and will be on the scene for a good while. Roomy and ergonomically sound!

  • I love this car! It's been with me for 8 months and I'm still loving it. It has amazing looks and damn, I can't help but take a second look everytime I get off from the car.

  • @lhooderssl It sucks though. its slow lol. only has liek 156 horsepower. thats TERRIBLe.

  • 156hp for a 2.0 liter engine is actually very good

  • @64bitgfx true. Most cars in this class have 140 horsepower or less. It has some nice get up.

  • Im getting this in Black for my B DAY!!!!

  • I leased one of these last December. So far its a good ride, reliable and very good on fuel economy. Not real powerful but if you want to save on gas this is a good choice.

  • Don't be stupid PKhong972 a 10 years old car is junk if you're planning to have that car for more than ten years why don not you go and get a Chevrolet 55 or similar....lol

  • I test drove a Forte. It was sunny, but it wasn't too hot. It rained 3 hours before. When the salesman pulled out the car from the lot, he had to turn the AC all the way up because it was pretty hot inside. I sat in, it was still hot. I put my hands over the vent but it didn't feel cold. After the test drive, it wasn't hot anymore, but I didn't feel cold either. It is only May, I wonder what it will be like in August. Is the AC just really weak? How about heat?

  • @Donfun1234 the A/C probably wasn't on and it was on fan

  • @Dyllip Thanks for your reply. May I ask if you own a 2010 Forte now? I just want to be more certain about the A/C issue. My wife remembers it was on. Also, because the inside of the car was so hot, it only the fan was only, the wind blown out should be kinda hot too, but it wasn't. If you own a Forte and the A/C is good, then at least I know it is really okay. Thanks.

  • I am in love with this car. I don't really need a car right now but I will be getting one in two years when I graduate college. How do you think a moderately equipped EX model will cost by then?

  • this car is soooo nice

  • is forte good . i reli hope dis car has no prob cause my father got me dis 1

  • Damn dude, you really need some classes to learn how to write!!!

  • cerato the best!

  • not bad... for a Kia

I have an 01 Rio as my first car XD

    sucks so bad.

bad brakes and the airbag light is on constantly ;p

Don't know if Kia's are still that bad, but I'll never have another one, that's for sure.

  • @3x0rcyst3m I'm a big fan of Hyundai/Kia, and I do acknowledge that there was a time where they weren't very good. They've definitely stepped it up with these new cars, though. I can't really stand by the Rio, honestly. Besides that, both companies make fantastic cars that gets high ratings in Consumer Reports, even toppling Honda and Toyota.

  • You seem to know your stuff lol.May i have some advice, Would you consider getting a 2008 toyota corola?

  • The Toyota Corrola is an overall good car but lacks on a lot of saftey equiptment which was an optional package bland looking but comfortable lustrious seating and good qaulity materials get one with the full saftey package and your onto a winner

  • thanks dude

  • i like only 2008 Sorento(the car I drive actually)but in my next wishes is a ML320 or 400(mercedes obviously)

  • woooooooooww love it :D:D:D:D:D

  • Idiot below

  • Honda + Toyota = The Best

  • I assume you haven't been watching the news :)

  • LMAO i know right?....

    Recalls everywhere.

  • @PLmikePL hahahaha turn on ur tv :P

  • Looks like a cheap Civic ......very unoriginal. Kia is a bit behind in design....considering they took majoirty of the design from the 2006 Civic Coupe. Its a No-Name Civic

  • are you stupid that looks like a skyline kinda nothing like a civic lol

  • @PLmikePL JEALOUS THINGS

  • i agree 100% its a wannabe car just like hyundai genesis

  • How is that so many Japs characters are such sneaky & disdainful... from blatant door crashing to sneaky farting at every Korea video clips, pukin'out dirty temper in gnawing fear, & loser's desperation.. tsk, tsk

  • @crazyorangefool THEN GO COMMENT ON UR CAR

  • you're just mad because you cant afford a real car

  • @crazyorangefool NOW LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING MAN B4 YOU START TALKING NONSENSE, we're from a very respectable family and we own SEVERAL CARS, and we hv never owned a car better then KIA, we have '94 grand cherokee factory, 02 buick regal factory, 06 spotage V6 factory, 07 Rio factory, and 06 bimmer 5 series also factory and we own several import depots and lots of money, so i can buy all ur cars, but since we bought Kias we've changed our minds, much butter with much more value, so KIA 4 LIFE!

  • muuy buenoo

  • Only cars that can compete with Hyundai/Kia is Porsche, from 2010 models , on mid lx level , Fk BMW, on reliability

Japan's outdated Tech' can not even come close to super modern manufacturing facilities of Hyundai, entire complex is a giant computer circuit , level of quality control is unprecedented, materials & metallic durability surpass any other contenders..

Ps, To fart a bit of drag race point,, brawn idiots throw away practical economy , 2~3 years ago is ancient to K-cars

  • @elam7batura ...stfu japanese cars are so much better than korean, u sir obviously like the dick

  • guess what nobody cares because its a car

  • @elam7batura I'd like to believe what you say, but I highly doubt you know what you're talking about..

"materials & metallic durability surpass any other contenders"

When's the last time you see accidents caused by material failures? Modern automobiles have VERY high safety factor. The only difference is modern cars have lighter chassis thanks to advance in material science..

As for reliability, there are alot of variables, you can't judge the whole brand. Some models fare better than others..

  • Reliability sucks on Korean cars I would never been seen in one. Now Japanese cars are good they know how to make a car. Maybe your Kia looks nice but I bet you it will not last as long as my Nissan.

I have a 97 nissan pickup with over 120,000 miles on it and it runs like a top. I know someone that has a 2006 kia and it burns oil likes its been on the road for years.

My next car will be a Nissan, Chevy or maybe a Honda but no damn Korean car.

  • is it a stick shift 0_0

  • I got one today its reeally good!

  • @andyllamanipl

Are you still satisfied with your purchase? I'm about to buy this car...

  • @halifaxmtl666 My friend bought a corolla too and he is very happy. i think iam gonna buy one too. this is my bros previous car too..it was 2008 model and there was no problem. he has a mercedes e 200 2004 model with was at 50.000km and its getting problems since he bought it from the dealer. his corolla was at 48.000km when he sold it and he ver get a problem and 50k mercedes is fcked up. indeed thats a bit bad luck but shame to mercedes.

  • @halifaxmtl666 for me...kia forte looks like a good deal at first but until i've seen mitsubishi lancer 2008 (not the evo x version) i think mitsubishi is the better deal, first to get full equiped with side airbags, cruise control and 2.0 litre engine you will have to purchase the top SX 2.0 kia forte model..which in my country cost the same as the lancer. BUT the lancer has same level of equipment, bigger size, better looks and most importantly the engine is more powerful. so yeah jz my 2cent

  • @andyllamanipl Yeah right. it fucking sucks. it only has like 150 horsepower. what kind of piece of shit is that.

  • @TheeDevilWearsPrada Its not a god damb racing car. Its a fucking family sedan.

  • @marth1800 And the interior is shit too.

  • @andyllamanipl which one. koup or the other one? which one do you recommend?

  • EX or SX model ..and why?

  • sx is the sport design ...ex is more like the normal people type of thing car

  • actually samsung and LG are doing a lot better than whatever you are.... LOLOL CHENZHEN

the problem with your race is that you cant admit it when you're being beaten ;) face the facts buddy

  • a 0:20 to me it kind of looks like a lexus is250 the wheels to

  • Get outa here fucking dirty Jap sucker , pukin out vile vomit at every K-car sites, Hyundai have virtually got nothing to blame these days, actually the best car money can buy any other choice? you are simply throwing away the best value option, period, Don't be a fool to go by old stale name brand, You can not afford to fool youself in the toughest economy now

  • fuck its my 3rd car lol but ye you enjoy driving when you are behind the wheel

  • @petiteasiahoney Honda may be over price compare to Kia but in 10 years, my car will still be up and running, how many 10 year old Kias do you see on the road compare to Hondas =P

  • @PKhong972

Honda is an overpriced piece of shit.

  • @petiteasiahoney

Honda is more expensive for a reason,

Better built quality and it holds it value ALOT better.

I have a Honda from 2001 that is still running perfectly and the only parts I ever replaced was the one that wears out over time.

While my buddy bought a Kia in 2005 and the engine blew up back in 2008 at just under 85K miles. My Honda is almost at 200K mile and still going strong.

You have to look at these variables in the long run.

  • @PKhong972

Just because Honda avoided the fate of Toyota, don't be too smug yet.

  • @PKhong972 i do really hope that my Honda Fit lasts that long. It stalled halfway driving one day. Built quality? So not. The dashboard paint wears off easily when you are wiping it, leaving scratches. And THATS not quality.

  • Some people can afford three Hondas Flip92, but some people don't have to show others how smart they are. Also, some people don't want a car that everyone has. That's for the commoners and comformist....the Honda buyer in other words. Good quality car though, no argument there.

  • just picked up a black forte sx its awesome!!!

  • your so lucky dude i would do almost anything for that to be my fist car

  • Love the white SX. :)

  • Thought this was a civic when I first saw it.

  • Wow, when did Kia get so sexy?

  • @vdub350

As soon as one of the C.E.O from Hyundai took charge in Kia and hired the former Audi designer.

  • It looks like Kia stole some parts off Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Mitsubishi to make this car. I guess thats why they call it the Forte. lol

  • its nice to know that hyundai took over kia and that hyundai is working on better reliability and cars that are affordable and more bang for the buck vs civic i love honda dont get me wrong they just dont break but offers so much less for so much more cash and they make it seem like they have the only reliable car out there and the honda went future crazy with the blue lights and digtal stuff im not into that i like the exterior better with a more simple interior

  • much much better looking than the civic, corolla and rest of the cars in it's class

  • hondas just not cheap enough for some people...

  • everyone's dream... a cheaper civic

  • This is front wheel drive right?

  • I love my white FORTE !!

    Go for KIA.

  • I dont know if alot of readers here Knows that, Hyundai Bought KIA few yrs ago and it share the same engine as Hyundai cars for all the new cars.

  • the guy at the end on the voice over needs to clear his throat. XD

  • started an owners club "kiaforteclub" Just toss the most common url ending on. (Note: It isn't showing up on search engines yet. )

  • The no leather package or navigation system make this a pass for me!

This car looks nice, however! one of my friends own one & it drives nicely, hugs the road & feels about like my girlfriend's Audi TT in terms of response & road feel!

So I'd say this is a great car for the low-budget people who want some sportiness! As for me, it doesn't offer a leather package nor a navigation system & that just kills it for me!

Those who don't care about those things

    will LOVE this little car!

    =)

  • No Leather or Nav ? I dont know where your located but In Canada its available, Additional Features for SX: - 17" alloy wheels - Fog lights - Power tilt and sliding sunroof - Automatic climate control - Supervision instrument cluster - Leather seats - Leather-wrapped steering wheel - Leather-wrapped gear shift knob - Trip computer - Sirius® satellite radio (includes 3 month trial)2 - Sport tuned suspension Maybe you were looking at it in the early stages.
  • No, I looked today - you're right! My apologies! I just didn't see the leather package, but no navigation other than a portable Clarion! However, to me that doesn't count!

For around the same price you could get a Honda Civic Si at most dealerships..with an in-dash true navigation & stereo system!

    Sorry for any confusion!

To me, I won't buy a car that's missing either one of those two features! A few others that I won't go without also are bluetooth & quality audio!

    Sorry again man!

    =)

  • Understood, I saw a pic of in dash Nav on google images check and see if you see the one I was talking about, Im looking into picking one of these up because of their 5 yr warranty & 0 % financing. Drives great, looks good and is well priced.

No Harm done Timo :-) (move to canada) lol

  • Oh yes, I agree totally!

This car is a VERY nice for it's price & warranty!

I actually like the car a lot!

Oh and by the way, Canada & Canadians KICK ASS!! You guys are AWESOME! Hey...maybe we ought to follow you guys' example of healthcare! Our government just can't seem to get it right! LOL!!

    It's free up there right?

    =)

  • DUDE, thats a totally different topic, LOL

  • Ah liberals, always wanting something for nothing. Feel free to move there, Lib.

  • a Honda Civic Si with nav is like $24k there's no comparison, the forte is much cheaper.

  • LMAO, people who buy Kia do it out of economical reasons, hence they dont normally get leather and navigation. And both are easy to install aftermarket cheap in like 2 days, so its silly to say that it killed the deal for you.

  • Ugly. Uninspired. Cheap.

  • If you do some research you will see that the most reliable Hondas and Toyotas with 200kmi and 300kmi on the odometers were those built in the '80's. When those companies realized their cars were overbuilt and outliving the lifespan of the comsumer interests in owning those models, they scaled back on the quality of some components. Even Toyota had recent oil sludging issues, and Honda's paint was peeling off models in the 3rd year. Bottom line: KIA and Hyundai are moving to the front...

  • lol...paint peeling?...lmfao....that has absolutely nothing to do with mileage..

  • What's with the camera man, why does he keep filming the ceiling?

  • lol I was wondering that myself

  • looks like a civic knock-off, but with less quality and reliability.

  • Kia has done well at improving their INITIAL quality, that is.... the initial visual impact when you get into the car, the looks, feel, asthetics. But that DOESN'T tell you how it will do 5 to 7 years down the road. We have examples all around us of Honda's on the road with 200k to 300k miles on them, just with standard maintenance, and 10 to 15 years after they were initially purchased, with no major repairs.

  • Where are all of the Kia's from 10 to 15 years ago with 200k to 300k on them with no major repairs? Yes Kia has improved since then, but in order for anyone to claim that they are now just as good as Honda or Toyota, you would have to own one or track one for 7 years or so, with 200k miles PLUS, to then be able to say ok, this is just as good as a Honda or Toyota. That is REAL WORLD, not a simple "INITIAL" quality report based on how it looks/feels off the show room floor.

  • So you yourself just said it, you made my point. They need another 5 to 10 years of the current models being on the road and going past 200k in order to say that they are just as good as Honda or Toyota. Initial quality will not tell you that.

In 5 to 10 years from now, if the current model kia's show just as good of reliability and longevity as Toyota's or Honda's, THEN you can say they are the same quality and reliability. Again, that is REAL WORLD.

  • So like I said in the first place, the forte looks like a civic knock-off but with less quality and reiliability. Even the reviewer on this video ackowledges its imitating the civic. So based on the history of Honda's cars and this history of Kia's cars, my statement is correct. I see you even have the name Kia in your youtube name. That's cool that you are a kia fan, but it's also good to be objective, otherwise it becomes fanatacism.

  • Its better looking than the Civic and from the reviews I have read, handles slightly better.

  • kia and hyundai both have come along way

  • I wouldnt mind this car at all, just needs some personal touches. Definitely looks better than its competitors. corrolla , camry, focus, civic, there all pretty bland cars and everybody got em.

  • Id rather have any of its competitors. This SCREAMS cheap!

  • It has a lot of Toyota, Honda, and Ford in its styling!

  • I just test drove the SX model on the sedan (auto) and there was a lot of lag in acceleration. The guy at the dealership said it was a fuel saving feature and that the computer in the car would adjust to my driving habits. Is this BS? Can this feature be turned off?? ..I shoud be able to gun the damn thing and not have to sit around and wait!

  • There is a fuel economy package available on the Forte. It adds a 5-spd auto versus the standard 4-spd auto. It also adds slight aero enhancements, silica tires that reduce rolling resistance, and an alternator that only runs when the battery needs charging. Maybe this is what the salesman was talking about? I think it was BS about the delay of power though. Not sure what that was all about.

  • Focus looks cheap and bland compared to Forte.

  • uh nothing looks more cheap and bland compared to the Forte.

  • Yes, you're personality is cheap and bland. Now bug off.

  • Yes, you are personality is cheap and bland. Now bug off.

Uh..thats what you just fucking said to me. wtf

  • I'm a new car sales rep with KIA and the one thing that I'm really excited about is KIA has one of THE BEST warranties available! That should tell you they take great pride and confidence in their vehicles if they are willing to provide 5 yr/60k mile basic,10 yr/100k mile powertrain warranties, AND 5 yr/60k mile roadside assistance!

  • They had to have an outstanding warrenty to attract new buyers since they had an awful reliability reputation

  • that isnt confidence.. kias NEED to have good warranties, they break down all the time

  • true

  • lmao

  • Yes I bought my Kia used, but it still came with remainder of warranty. I've had to use it 3 times so far already, but for stupid little stuff. The people at Kia treated me really well and gave me no guff. Less than an hour wait each time and the problems were fixed for free. Nice cars from a good company.

  • I test drove the 2.0L and the 2.4L engines, and they both run really nice and smoothly. Excellent cars, a big step up for Kia!

  • i dont mind if its copy or not , now all kia and hyundai needs to do is prouve that the car lasts. For example, the hyundai genesis coupe is so amazing for the price.

  • its excellent value, im considering purchasing one, I test drove the SX with the bigger 4 cylinder

  • Is the rear seat the biggest in class?

  • I'm not sure but i'm wanting to say yes
