Honest opinion , archuleta clearly won because of the millions of fans he has compared to Ryan because many prepubescent females are so addicted to davids appearance as to forget what real talent in singing is . Its just ridiculous how SOME people thought david outsang/'pwned' ryan , the lead singer of one republic . Truthfully , david sounded great regardless he is only 17 years old . But to compare , Ryan is better than David in this performance also , regardless his cold before the show.

David really did a fantastic job than the original singer - its very obvious for he's so relax and very natural that's why the performance turned out so amazing and he didn't even try hard he just very calm. David voice just fit perfectly well with the song and well soothed with his voice. One of the best performance. You can see judges gave him a standing ovation.
