While the chronology is practically flawless, I think it would make more sense to show Amanda self-harming before she is put in the trap. It would not make sense for John to take Amanda to Jill as proof of his 'methods' working when we still see her scarring her body and obviously still quite unstable. Other than that though, I'm sure I'm not the only one to be extremely grateful that somebody has taken the time to do this. It's no secret the whole saga can get very confusing over 7 films xD
@Ragedrayven well she used to cut herself before she was framed by Eric Matthews, in Jail she took up Heroin instead and stopped cutting herself. After she was put in the reverse bear trap she stopped Heroin and continued cutting herself sometime after the bathroom trap. She told Daniel in the Nerve gas house that she was put in another trap as she was cutting herself. And John took Amanda to Jill as she did not continue cutting herself yet. Only After the visit did she continue cutting herself.
This all makes very good sense the way you have edited it. A question however:
We know John left an envelope for Amanda to read and we know that Hoffman left her a letter blackmailing her. Do we assume that when Hoffman puts that note into the envelope, it's the same one that John left her but Hoffman replaces John's letter with his own? It's not a reflection on your superb editing but more a plot hole that wasn't 'filled' I reckon.
@nycolombiano611 he did return to his family, There are many reasons why Lawrence decided to help John, John could have blackmailed him like Hoffman because Lawrence cheated on his wife...Lawrence also could have been grateful and believed John saved him like Amanda did. He also could have been grateful that John nursed him back to health
Omg nice
