I have a 2003 GSXR 750 and i just cut mine down i have the yoshi tri oval in carbon fiber, mine is just a little shorter than yours, sounds amazing.

k so I take the end cap off right and can cut it with a jigsaw? And re rivet without doing anything to the cut side? Do you have to take anything out? Ill try on the stock one first so I dont mess up my new one o and if could find the link with more deatil that would be awesome Thanks

basically pop the rivet cut pipe down and re rivet, pretty straight forward, ill try and find the link to the instructions.

hey bro, I've done it several times. you drill out th erivets on the mid pipe end, so you can reuse that clamp. then I suggest takin a table mounted saw to ensure a straight cut and you want to keep the end with the tag on it, that way, it's still classified as a "manufacturer" modified. I only know of cali caring bout it, but I would just keep it. best of luck, message me if you got anymore questions. I'm makin mine a highmount now.
