It's a good thing a got a very good laptop. It's a Toshiba, with over 500 MB of memory, and it can run any game as powerful as Call Of Duty. It cost me nearly $1000, but it was well worth it. Yeah, I'm spoiled, but I can't help but feel bad for Asalieri right about now.

Speaking of junk, my LCD monitor that I had for about a year decided to die on me. It'll take a month, ONE MONTH to fix; basically just to replace a bulb. Thankfully it's still under warranty so I won't have to buy a new one, but still.

Meanwhile, I dragged out an old CRT from my closet that's existed since the mid friggin' 90s and plugged it in. IT WORKS LIKE A CHAMP.

I built my desktop myself from scratch, and I have to keep it running by constantly ghetto-rigging it with used parts. The network card doesn't work, I had to replace the sound card, the video card is older than me, and I had to put in a USB expansion card because only three ports on the motherboard still work, and only two of those are high-speed. I also had to throw away my crappy desk when I moved, so it's sitting on my kitchen counter now. I know how ya feel, man.

My laptop is annoying as well. It's not missing keys, but I've had to replace the motherboard and if the monitor isn't tilted at a very precise angle (I think 97 degrees) the screen flickers like crazy and I can't see a thing!

@Asalieri2 go to my computer right click and go to propperties then type down the cpu information + how much ram you have, and that should tell us how well it preforms in processing, for us to know about your gpu on the other hand requires you to go to device manager. I can't rember off hand how to go to there, from windows 7. Right now I primary use linux, many different distributions.

There's a non profit organization called free geek that takes your old dead pc free of charge. If you go and volunteer for them 24 hours or more you get a free refurbished computer. They also give you the option to build it yourself. You don't even need any experience with computers to volunteer. Check into something like that in your area Asa.
