  • So few views...just this 1 video could help soo many guitarists out there who know nothing about music theory. Wonderful teacher.

  • that backing track sucks XD

  • he is a tiny, tiny man

  • This dude has bionic hands.

  • damn its like he doesnt even pick all the strings

  • I noticed that alot of comments on this video are of people not realizing that what you are seeing in this video are small excerpts of his teachings. He goes alot more in detail and thorough explanations on the DVD.

  • dude.. this shit is crazy.

  • won't you be my neighbor?

  • man not only is rusty cooley a legend at guitar... he's a very good teacher... It was nice and easy to follow what he was saying and the modal phrases that he was showin on the video were great ideas that im gonna take on board and learn :)

  • 7:00 holy fuck

  • he doesn't use the 7th string in this video so what does it matter???

  • cuz he knows not everyone has a 7 string guitar its a lesson for all guitarist 6 or 7 string just use the same pattern on your 7th if you have one

  • @glaurung26 because he still loves that guitar probably more than he loves his mother so why would he play something else?

  • I personally was pretty disappointed with these new fretboard autopsy videos. I was much more pleased with shred guitar manifesto and was hoping this would be like that. I probably just expected too much, but mainly I wanted more of his 4 finger stuff but there wasn't any. Just the modes and some legato style patterns. Don't get me wrong though, PERFECT for a beginning shredder.

  • yeah but,the difference between the shred manifesto and the f.autopsy is that the manifesto is for develop technique and the autopsy is like knowledge of the fretboard,(you know with that you can for example create your own licks and know where the notes are ect.....).there different programs, both usefull.

  • I would love to sit down with rusty and just pick his brain about everything guitar, hes a god.

  • this is a cool vid, stop arguing and learn !!

  • i want rustys sig so bad! It addresses all of my major problems with strat shaped guitars. This is a great instructional video from a great player

  • I just ordered one last week and I can't wait for it to arrive.

  • What does that beast cost?

  • $3k it's not cheap :P

  • I got mine a few weeks ago and although it was expensive it addressed alot of issues I have with guitars too. The cutaway was the main problem since my hands are huge.

  • yeah thats my problem aswell. My hands are massive, i play a king v just to avoid cutaways all together but i dont like needing to reach over the body to get the 24th fret. I might by the import version when its made available over here in the good ole U.K.

  • Haha shut up fucker, ur just pissed cause u cant afford it

  • you are a total ass hole. i am going to purchase the tremonti signature prs and i guarantee you ill play better on it cause its a better guitar. so yes its hard to shred with a piece of shit guitar. but u still are jealous cause u cant afford it. go fuck yourself punk.

  • so ur gay? i see

  • Eh... I'm pretty darn good at guitar and this guitar does help a lot. There are some things that i can play on all my guitars but they all sound a lot better on that Rusty's.

  • LOL! "i noticed he used legato a little bit"

    man

  • Good explanation. Good instructional video.

  • No Comment !!!

U are The best fast Shredder For Me :p;)

  • Because he's playing it legato dumbass. Watch his other videos, all he does is alternate pick.

  • I WANT THIS INSTRUCTIONAL :D

  • this must be from the new instructional
