yeah we go to BOA every year so yeah.... there was one point in my show this year where im in this pod of 4 and im with 3 tubas and the always hit my plum. and it sucks because at that point its another one bites the dust and....well they like to blast it out... it was the only low brass feuture in our show that was fun and cool.
@Manthony2013 No, but i do play barritone, i know this because in this years show Killer Queen my friend who i march next to in an across the feild he losses his slide there every time and i always step on it. i think i have destroyed about 4 slides
@Manthony2013 his slide gets stuck on the plums. i didn't really destoy the slide but that was just to get the point across. but yeah i know how bad it is...

My sis was supposed to be a shadow since she was a freshman, but one of the girls moved so they chose her to be in the begining! she even got a solo in the winterguard cuz she was so good!
eh, typical boa band. good job at the show, it looks like you guys worked pretty hard to clean it up. i just don't like the choreography of the show or the style of the band.
@scottishgirl2936. We don't have tryouts. We have clinics at the end if the scoolyear that are called tryouts that are just for people to learn more about the program and get them ready for band camp in the summer. Even then there aren't necissarily cuts. There will be 5-15 alternates that need more work in one area or another. They're more like a backup in case someone can't finish the season for some reason. What band are you by the way?
Grand National Champs in 1992, The band made its first appearance in 1984 and placed 6th. 19 finals appearances since then. "Centerville" Always entertaining.

Of course their going to have a good sound and somewhat in line forms, you have to tryout to get into their marching band. in public schools we have to let everyone in. if my school had tryouts we would be just as good and probably better. And even with no tryouts will have actually beaten centerville at BOA

I'm pretty sure it is. I saw them in semifinals and the place was packed, and I can't imagine it not being full for finals. The crowd here looks sparse.
