photoshop is by far the easiest way to blur backgrounds , but elements will do it aswell but it's a little more complex. i personally use PS all the time to correct D-SLR exposure that go bad. great vid
great video and easy to follow. i'm using photoshop CS2 and does it have a quick select tool like the version your using? when you select just the apple?? that part i was curious. thanks and hope to get a reply soon.

you could use a pen tool to select the apple.....that is an available option i think so..
