Some people think this is a "thriller" movie and say that they hate Patrick Bateman for killing everyone. I didn't, I think he is one of the best antiheroes in cinema, and I wanted him to win. In a way he did, at least inside his own head.

But the same people might say "OMG you can't laugh at that, are you a psychopath too?" like it's all taboo or whatever. But people don't realize this is a subtle comedy movie.

No, He did it. The Co Writer of the movie and Director said that it was their intent to show that he in fact did do everything(Except near the end, as he was losing his mind due to paranoia) and Ellis himself said in the novel if Batemen in fact didn't murder anyone at all, the the book would have no point at all for a story.
